One small thing on the combo, V of the Vanguard won’t give plus 1 to the weapon attacks since Gallantry Gold was activated/Dusk Path Pilgrimage was played after V, thus closing the combat chain and preventing further buffs from V. V - 4 attack (possible 5) First hatchet - 6 attack (possible 7) Second hatchet - 4 attack (possible 5) First hatchet (given it hit) - 4 attack (possible 5) Total attack 18 damage (possible 22), still a gut punch to the opponent!
For that example hand, If you didn't have V of the Vanguard, it is still possible to swing for 18. (However, you will not have Boltyn's charge ablity active, and this requires 3 cards in soul) Pitch Illuminate (3 resources) Play Dusk Path (cost 1) Use Gallantry Gold (cost 1) Swing Axe for 6 damage (cost 1) + Banish from Boltyn for Go again Pitch Seek Enlightenment (3 resources) Swing Axe #2 for 4 damage (cost 1) + Banish from Boltyn for Go again Swing Axe for 4 damage (cost 1) + Banish from Boltyn for Go again Attack with Rising Solartide for 4 damage (cost 1)
I'd add something important that it took me many games to figure... you should put the cards in your soul below boltyn not above, toward the arsenal, this way, it looks like boltyn is running faster... (you know when cartoon caracters run and leave a trail...)

We are having a rough time with Boltyn against Prism (both as built in the box). Without 6 DMG attack cards how can Boltyn deal with all of the high strength Phantasms?
Burn their resources. I played my first game of Boltyn against Prism and won easily. I blocked minimally (no more than one card per turn - if that) and instead used my multiple attacks to force my opponent to block, denying them of resources to attack me.

That is the key aspect with V, you got to setup those cards and equipment before playing V.

I've been playing Bolton against chane and just getting owned lol

This video shows you putting used equipment into the graveyard. AFAIK you shouldn't do that and this matters a lot if you're playing Levia.
