I do agree a wife is to submit to her husband but some women take it like they are to be their husbands doormat. The bible tells the husband to love his wife like Christ loved the church (Christ loved us so much that he laid his life down for the church) so when a husband cares for, loves, and is gentle to his wife, I think it becomes a pleasure for the wife to submit to her husband's leadership, rather than despise it or force herself to submit to it.
