    Wise words as always Josie! Interesting comment that performing the poetry generates as much interest as online does. I think it is too easy to focus on online and not realise performing and getting out there is equally important. Good stuff!

      Thanks Andrew - word of mouth might not help you reach loads of people, but people are far more likely to buy/support someone they've met in real life!

    This may be a random question, but is it irresponsible to share poetry online without officially copywriting it first ? I once shared a piece I've written, and no more than a week later I was messaged with a screenshot of someone plagiarizing it. I also draw, and I haven't had that issue with my drawn art, so I was completely unprepared for that situation

      Hey Jae - just by writing it, you have copyright. Whether sharing it on a blog, a picture on instagram or a video, sharing your poetry online has it's pit falls. You can do things to deter it like watermarking it and calling people out. Or you can choose to only submit your poems to official journals and magazine. Personally, I only share my poems in video form.
