I got to attend once! It was awesome. Sometimes you just have to be in Hollywood at the right place and time. It was fun. I don’t live in SoCal either. I had just happened to be in Cali.
The thing about craig is how natural he would make the "interview" go. It truly was like an old friend visiting him and they'd just talk bs for 10/15 minutes. And he did this with EVERYONE, not just with fellow comedians like Simon is.
It's been years since I've seen Simon on Spaced, and he is still so cute and awesome :D . He's only getting better. :cheers for scotty/shaun/tim/graeme/angel:
@@Derek_Keenan If he's in House of the Dragon prequel, he can more than play Loren Lannister of the Westerlands. Who faced against Aegon in the Field of Fire with Mern Gardener IX of the Reach.
STNeish he is from London and Gloucestershire, these days in Hertfordshire, on the outskirts of London, Craig doesn’t even sound super Scottish any more, I’m Australian but lived in both England and Scotland, a real true Scottish accent is really thick and quite hard to understand
When overseas in Afghanistan a British Colonel and I had a discussion about how we don't speak the same language, but it's close enough. That the Irish can be understood if they slow down, and that the Scottish don't so much speak the language as chew it up, gargle with it and then spit it out.
I love the foreign back-and-forth talking of a place Americans haven't studied the map to know these places. Welcome Simon I want to visit you some day.
4:26 - how on earth did they censor a swear word... with another swear word!?
Před 3 lety
That's what they always did on his show. They censored it putting another swear word in another language. Or, from another country. Bollocks is a swear word in england, and the show is american so...
@ Err. No they didn't. Pretty sure "Ooh lala!" is not a swearword in French, and "!At Caramba!" is not actually a swear word in Spanish...
Před 3 lety+1
@@ravimusicuk true, not always, but I remember hearing a Portuguese one time. I might be wrong of course. I guess you could say it's an expression from each country Wich may or may not be a swear word. But they do tend to use soft ones (like ay caramba Wich translates to "oh damn").
We don't really. It's all shite made up by the media to fuel division. I live in Glasgow and there are many English people living here who are very welcome.
So it is not just women who say, "no way...we are done". It cause there are probably there for 6 hours and getting ready etc and Craig is ultra charming and all, but hose 8 minutes might feel like 8 seconds. Imagine been an ultra hot 20 something year old and you get sent on this show and you are on a show at night no one watches and you you arrive at 2pm and 6 hours later afer an 8 minute interview with the most charming man you have ever sat across, he says and we are out of time. That's how I see how this works. Anyway....so
speebyda Give us an example of some of his less intelligent movies. Remember he is a comedien and comedies is his thing. Hot Fuss, Sean of the Dead and Paul i think are his best and they all comedies.
Man, I miss this show A LOT.
I'm with you on that
best late show host ever , too bad he quit

Here I am on Feb 28, 2023 and I still miss the show!

This is such a good interview because they genuinely sound like two neighbors playing catch-up with the Glasgow talk
Simon has such a great laugh. Very infectious.
"Where's the corner shop where you can get a pint of milk?"
"Oh you can get stuff on the corner but it ain't milk!"
Genius.

Simon looks like a young Tywin Lannister.

I covet Simon Pegg's coat. That this is fricken AWESOME

I wasn't crazy about his show in general, but Craig Ferguson gives some of the best interviews
'I think, if you're not bitter your not participating' 🤣🤣
Hertfordshire!! yay!
"Tumbleweeds, and crack-people"
Yep, that pretty much sums LA up........🤣
I love how relaxed Craig is when his guests are Scottish.
STNeish he’s married to a Scot, Simon is not scottish
@@alexwarner6111 Simon isn't Scottish? I thought he was. Where IS he from, then?

As a former drummer, I just figured out my personality type.
I instantly think of Billy Connolly when Ferguson does that accent
nice cute little interview

"If youre not bitter, youre not really participating" 👌
In life, maybe? It's 2021, folks!
Best show on the Tube while it lasted.
One of the finer interviews of Craig.
Because Simon is smart enough not to get eaten alive.

Craig seems like a big Harry Potter fan. I've noticed a lot of Harry Potter references.

Craig had to get a second look at Simon's shoes

Simon Peg. I just can't get it.

Watch him in the interview with Edgar Wright and Nick Frost where they are discussing at Worlds End and you will see why people love him so much.
Watch 'Peep Show' and 'Big Train'.
Simon's great, Hector's a bit shit but still.
Simon Pegg for some reason or another is now making some really shitty films!
I'm sure he'll take your comment to heart whilst counting his zillions of dollars. :P
Wow really? And I didn't realise he had that much money! That's just amazing.
