Mid Game Masters: Pokemon Yellow Legacy Hardcore Nuzlocke Ep. 4

Howdy folks, and welcome to a new experience in a game we are very familiar with: Pokemon Yellow Legacy! This rom hack takes the game we all know and love and flips it on its head, giving the game a necessary face lift while keeping the Gen 1 experience as true to 1997!
After getting tripped up for the first time last episode, do we get our footing back or continue to tumble?
We will be attempting a Hardcore Nuzlocke of this game. Rules below.
Hardcore Nuzlocke Rules:
1. Can only catch the first Pokemon I encounter per area
Exceptions are: Overworld Statics (Sudowoodo, Snorlax, etc.), eggs, gift pokemon
2. No healing in battle
3. Set mode is on
4. If a Pokemon faints, I can no longer use it
5. Nicknaming is optional
6. Have to use the same amount of Pokemon the Gym Leader uses in a Gym battle
