      There is widespread misinformation, which is that Nubians (residents of Nubia) are considered pure descendants of the Nile Valley and its inhabitants from ancient times, but this is not true. The first mention of the Nubians and their culture in the Nile Valley as settled farmers was in the Roman era, and before that they were shepherds and nomadic Bedouins in the North African desert between Libya and Chad. Therefore, there is no mention of the Nubian language nor any inscription related to it that exceeds 2 thousand years old in ancient monuments. Rather, the letters of the Coptic language, which is a mixture of ancient Egyptian and Greek, were borrowed to write their language. Knowing that the Nubians are Nilo-Saharan peoples who do not speak Afro-Asian and are different from the settled peoples of Sudan (such as the Meroites and Kushites), in addition to their difference from the peoples of ancient Egypt and even East Africa (the Abyssinians / Omtecs / Somalis). ☆ Below is a historical testimony by the Roman historian Strabo, and his description of the Nubians, their lands, customs, and their difference from the peoples of the Meroë civilization, and his description of the rest of the peoples of the ancient Sudan region: Starbo of Amasia, Geography. 𓋹𓍑𓋴 Brother, this video was exquisitely made. I used to live in Cairo as a student at AUC in the 80’s before there was all this video capturing capability. Toward the end of my matriculation I finally made it to Aswan. The Nubian people treated me like I was a long lost cousin. Egyptians always call people from different countries “al ahsan naas” meaning “the best people.” However Nubians are truly the best people I have ever met and I’ve been a few places.

    FYI:
    The ancient Kushite/Nubian founders did not call themselves Egyptians. They did not practice Islam.

      You are correct, we forget the Nile Family - Kushites, Nubians & Kemet’s - All very similar but their own African Dynasties - that Co existed and fought along side one another - they were One in heart & spirit - but Unique in their way. • @JazzEnthusiast
      @JazzEnthusiast Před rokem +7

      @@hennysworld based on the evidence my perception is different. Please read me out.
      The chronology reveals that when Kemet was established, there were no Egyptians for thousands of years.
      They lived according to a different philosophy than the Assyrians, the Persians and the Greek/Macedonian Egyptians. There wasn't a legitimate Egyptian until approximately 325BCE after Alexander's conquest. Prior to that it was a matter of what the Greeks chose to call the Kemites based on their language.
      Though the Kemites had several Netaru, their way of life was Maat.
      The Assyrians and Persians had their pantheon of Gods. The Greco/Roman worshiped Ptolemy Soter (Isus, Jesus) and the Arabs Allah.
      The point I'm making is, we should clearly distinguish the difference between an Egyptian and the Kemite. The broad stroke approach undermines the significant contributions of the Kushite people.
      Conversely, it elevates the usurpers of Kemetic culture who didn't contribute or build anything.
      I digress.

    • @JazzEnthusiast
      @JazzEnthusiast Před rokem +6

      @@hennysworldyou're right. Egyptians are a cosmopolitan people. Before the Assyrian conquest of Kemet in 663 BCE that was not so.

Never understood the obsession of black Americans with the Nubians in Egypt but no obsession with Sudan the place in which they actually came from That is where there kingdom resides You do know they were not even present in Egypt until the 25 lth Dynasty .okay there were 31 Dynasty's of Egypt , Black people (Nubians) did not rule over Egypt until the 25th dynasty go and look it up for yourself
    Secondly the Nubians that were in Egypt were slaves.
    And if your wondering if the 25th Dynasty means your ancestors were once Pharos and Kings and Gods of Egypt the answer is no.Most likely you are claiming to have ancestors who were slaves after they were bought from African Kings and brought over to America If this is the Case most likely your peoples was from Either Ghana,Congo,or other Sub Saharan West African places ..Not across the vast Desert into North Africa of Egyot nore From Sudan on the East side of Egypt .
    It be like me who is white British claiming that The French Emperor Napollion was some how my ancestors simply because he was white..
    Sure in America all blacks stick together "supposedly" but when referring to geographical locations like Africa which is not one country for all black peoples rather a very diverse Continent full of many Country's race and different languages and cultures you must be more educated then that..Learn African History and culture don't try to bend it to fit your narrow minded narrative

It doesn’t mean as stated in the episode that the people are “less Egyptian” NO! every single Egyptian is 100 percent egyptian but you must remember lots of colonial genes also intergrated with their original African one.
