I can’t believe those tourists were hanging onto the reins and the guard did nothing!
I KNOW ... he NEVER does!!! 😤😡
It surprised me too
I think the guy was a soldier in plain clothes
They were NOT hanging onto the reins, perhaps you should visit your opticians⁉️The hold was very soft and gentle and so we're the people too! The guard was very lucky that day, with a constant flow of respectful gentle soft people. Incidentally the horse loved all the human strokes, pets, interactions and if anyone forgot to personally acknowledge him, he usually gave them all a nudge reminder. The guard is in charge of the horse, he decides on how tight he holds the reins and can also give the horse other signals. The horse was happy, which made the guards century duty nice and easy. He choose to allow, because his horse craves attention and that keeps them both content!
@@ingridlarssen7483Tourists are specifically NOT allowed to touch the reins, perhaps you should visit your opticians as there is a sign beside each box that specifically states this. The guard should not have allowed these people to touch the reins, he does not make the rules, he is supposed to follow the rules TO THE LETTER.
Why do people act like they have never seen a horse? Overwhelming just to watch, I can imagine it stresses out that poor horse!
I know- like as of they had never seen an horse- they have to touch it to believe it.
I hope the horses get a good scrub down/massage.
Perhaps they should put the tourists in the box and let everyone touch their faces and keep them there for an hour. Laugh at them and see how they like it. Silly people, so self-centred and self-absorbed.
im sure most of them never seen a horse that close before
Beautiful they love to be around children it looks like. I wish I could come visit there.. ❤️❤️ Ohio USA
Wow the guard is taller than the horse. No one will mess with this kings guard. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😍
Do you really think the horse likes to be touched by a stranger? How long is one session in the box ? Are the horses allowed to roam in a field ?
He loves all the strokings, pats and attention. Should anyone dare to ignore him, he usually reminds them? A very friendly horse who loves and needs a lot of human attention. Obviously not all horses are the same. He is exceptional unusual! 😍
WHY allow people to touch the horse's head? They hold the reins, the bridle, the chin strap/chain and the horse's HEAD!! IT HAS TO STOP!!! IT'S DISGUSTING!
The kings Gaurds an Hourse uk,
Truly Nice to watch the Video here of the Kings Gaurds.
Beautiful horses. Guards very smart. I hope the horses get plenty of water.❤
And the horse is gently shaking it's head to and fro as if to say 'I don't know. Some people!'. 😂
They need to quit letting people near the horses! The horses are becoming more agitated and don't want to even step in the box. Half the guards let people do what they want, especially the Lifeguards. I don't know why, it's like they've gone soft or don't care. The few that makes the tourists act right don't have a chance because the others let things go. Like that guard there, just letting two people hold the reins and put his arm around the horses neck. He just sat there! Shouldn't be allowed on a horse if he doesn't protect the horse.
@beckysingleton596 Lifeguards? Don't you fine those near water?
@@maxinejones8627 funny ha ha 🙄
I've been noticing that a few guards that are here this year, remain silent. I've seen some pretty bold rein holding and pulling and general shenanigans from tourists and guards say nothing. I don't remember seeing this before this year. I have to think that they've been told to stay quiet. Maybe someone complained again.
🎉party time
The party time was sooner than I thought mmmmmm
They need to get more horses that bites😂😂😂
Wonder if some has to do with the temperament of the individual horse. Maybe some are more tolerant. Have seen a couple that are very lovey dovey!
I love watching how the people that are afraid to touch the horses.
When they see someone else do it then they get the courage to try.
The guards and horses are amazing .
I’m afraid of horses so I would stand back and admire them ❤❤❤
'Don't touch the reins'
Hold on let me grab the reins... smh
There should be a rule that the guard can tell the tourists to move back from the horse the pooe horse has alot of people around it I don't know why they haven"t done anything about it 5:05
The first guard shown in this video definitely needs to be reprimanded. He allowed the man to take hold of the reins that runs up the back of the horse’s chin. The man was grinning ear to ear and laughing". He knew that what he was doing was wrong. The Guard sort of glanced to that side but did nothing. Then wife also got involved and held on to the rein on the other side close up to the horse’s mouth. Why should tourists obey the signs when some of guards don’t care?
Horses stand for grooming longer than on duty. Yes most love the attention given to them and have a sense of affection for children. I was raised with them and would sneak off to the barn to be near them, I was never stepped on or hurt even with the huge work horses. It scared my Mom and the neighbor for me to play around and UNDER them, I loved them so most people never get to be close to any farm or large animals. That's sad not that long ago animals played a huge roll in our lives, not many are as lucky as I was to be raised on a farm. My pets weighed over 800 lbs and more, plus chickens and pigs how I miss our milk cows and my pony. No not everyone is lucky to live our lives of hard farm life, andnow my children and grandchildren get that privilege. At least with these videos I can see all the world around us and have a glimpse of others lives.
I have noticed many horses slip as they are coming out through the gates. Something needs to be done before there is an accident.
Adoro ver os vídios meu pai tinha varios cavalos sinto saudades do tempos de criança fico triste guando os turistas desrespeitam os soldados e seus cavalos ❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I Love the Horses so Happy that the ones that got spooked are recovering and the two who were badly injured I don't understand why people hold the Horses Leeds it's is tempting the Horses like the love and attention they deserve it but what if the Horses decide to bite the tourists or Bolt away risky I would stand by the horse when he looks at me I waves at him give him the thumbs up or blow him a kiss and have a photo next to him
Why do ALL these folks have to crowd the poor horses
What was that lady in green coat doing, holding her child's hand out like it was a sugar cube.
Like the video
I didn't watch the video until the end because it's more of the same! Why didn't the guard shout (don't touch the reins) to the first couple in the video? Are they friends? Besties? Bros? Family? What? The rules are for everyone!
I have always always thought there should be some sort of documentation available to the tour guides, at the hotels and at local kiosk. There could be several QR Codes where tourist could scan in the data to explain the purpose of the King's Guard, the meaning of each step in the changing of the Guard and really drive home that this is not a game for the tourists amusement.
Also, since today's society seems to think they are entitled, there should be a list of offenses and what they can be charged with for committing those offenses.
It also seems to me they should repaint the lines on the ground so the tourist have a clearer vision when the Guards and the Police tell them to move. If there were 2 or 3 different colors, the Guard and Police could specify which color line the tourist should be behind.
Love the horse, with that long neck and throaty grunt. It must be hard for the guards to always keep on top of sneaky tourists like that couple. After they left, you could tell the horse had been immobilized by them holding part of the bridle, as he started licking around his mouth again, I wonder if guards review these types of videos, so they can watch out for things like this. Come on people, BE AWARE of your surroundings. Don't be so rude. The Gatesman, before the trumpeter, is my favourite. He has gorgeous eyes, that look like he has permanent eyeliner. He's very handsome.
Enquanto um soldado chama a atenção para as pessoas não pegarem nas rédeas, outros não dizem nada os turistas então se aproveitam.
😊😊❤
Touching reins ??? Hand off Kings Horse
What a mish- mash of people. The guards are doing their job through a sea of tourists . It’s surely time that the tourists were kept away from the guards and let them look from BEHIND the barriers.
Off the reins
I feel sorry for the horses
Trouble is I know it’s dangerous but the horse has won if you let them get away with being naughty
I wonder if the guards get the same horse all the time?
What is the age range of the Royal guards who are allowed to guard the boxes at Buckingham Palace; or is this a different palace ?
Hearing an Aussie accent in the audio 😀
People seem to be getting much too close to the horses, don’t you think?
Ridiculous the amount of people allowed to touch the guards horse. Like a petting zoo
What’s the reason for smacking the horse when dismounting?
@rapido2963 the smack is to alert the horse to the dismount. It's because the rider weight is moving from the back of the horse to the side of the dismount. As some horses are very tall, it is a long way down 😮. So the horses don't move the smack is given.
@@maryholder3795 Thanks Mary 👍
Too many people pawing those horses
How long is their shifts on the houses and how many times a day for each guard.
Mounted 1 hour. Dismounted 2 hours on 4 hours off.
6 hour shift . Repeated every 7 to 10 days depending on other duties
1hour:s shift. I don't know how many shits per day?
@@ingridlarssen7483 1 mounted shift per day. They will do a dismounted 2 hour shift later that day and stable duties next morning after the horses are exercised for 2 hours 5 til 7am the ready for 10 til 11am duty before change over for another Troop.
Too many people touching the horse at one time ! Geesh !!!
😊
Watching this makes me so sad people can’t keep hands to themselves…… or stop over crowding the guards or horses . Period ……..
❤️👀💂🐎💂🐎😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
I feel so sorry for the poor horses to stand still for such a long time is so unnatural what's the point
Dont really like the guards with beards it makes them look scruffy and not so smart.
I thought we had stopped zoo exhibits, these poor horses are subject to standing still, and being used and man handled, in all weathers, it's time to stop this cruelty, especially in Hot weather, and mov on to thi century,
