Bandipur National Park, an 874-sq.-km forested reserve in the southern Indian state of Karnataka, is known for its small population of tigers. The park also harbors Indian elephants, spotted deer, gaurs (bison), antelopes and numerous other native species.

You have taken rightly the left turn, there are several locations on the right turn which you can explore on return, there are around 5 to 6 locations one different and unique from another , I wish you enjoy them all and share with us too, thanks you …
I know there are like Shooting sight, Pykara Lake the another point, Eucalyptus trees etc however we passed through all showing but did not stay much. Bahar se hi liya because it was weekend getaway and we had to return early. You can see same in Tuesday Vlog
I have driven twice on this route to Ooty. 36 Hair Pin bends as against 6 Hair Pin Bends on the longer route. This route is shorter by 30 kms.

Yes it was an amazing sight for us but camera could not do the justice so quick. Those cars came and tiger returned else could have showed a good video. Tiger was sitting just on the road side and we saw a beautiful video on him while sitting and even returning. Yea it’s rare sighting as we did many safaris and couldn’t spot one 😍👍

While surfing u tube, I saw your video and I could not stop myself to view the video which took me down memory lane of about 30 years back ! I ad driving down from Bangalore to Ooty via Mysore with my wife, three children and two relatives when on the highway our cars were blocked by few elephants on the highway ! I enquired the reason and was surprised to be informed that we are near Elephant Camp ! I am very fond of visiting animal sanctuaries and decided to try to stay overnight ! Luckily I could get three rooms in the Sylvan Lodge of TTDC with the help of local Forest Officer ! Were taken on Jeep in evening and on three elephant back on next day early morning !
Most interstate, during night lights went off due to elephants damaging some poles and we played cards in moonlight outside Sylvan Lodge just over a flowing river below ! Our attendant in the Lodge told us that during shooting of Ma movie, both Dharmendra and Hema Malini also stayed in the same lodge where we stayed !

I knew few foreigner friends, who waited for weeks to see tigers during safari but left empty handed. You guys are very lucky to see wild tiger in its natural environment sitting in your car. You are very lucky

Beautiful video how I miss my yearly visit, there are a lot of beautiful view points,the highest is doddabetta view point and if you need good food please visit Hyderabad biryani restaurant in the heart of ooty ,there is the beautiful botinical gardens and the lake and dolphins nose, Katherine water falls,law falls, chocolate factory ,dales tea estate u get awesome tea.
Yes we travelled through the beautiful roads and saw all those boards however did not go to those points. Doddabetta Maggie point we stopped and wanted to do to that peak however due to road work it was closed.
you could have taken the first tea spot which very famous and have waterfalls too .. and i am going from Bangalore since 18 years

You were lucky they didn’t ask .. when we went they asked us like rptcr report or vaccination report..I didn’t hv second dose since there was time for second dose ..since we didn’t hv rptcr as well so they asked us to pay 200 or go back

Yeah seems they did not and even they do we were carrying both doses or Vaccinations and now planning for booster if it’s allowed in India.
