I don’t know why any of these assholes never specify this important detail. But the Digital zoom is meant for you to zoom in on your object to make sure you have a correct “focus” It’s not to be recording while digital zoomed in. For example if you’re recording from far away, you use digital zoom to get as close to the object as possible, focus the object, then press record, the digital zooming resets itself, knowing your object is focused correctly. So it’s just to make sure your object is focused correctly

Why does it not take a pic of anything while digitally zooming in, it just reverts back to the default setting when the pic comes up?
