I have a question to you because I'm on the market to a gimbal.
I current using ZV-E10 with Sigma 16mm/Sony 35mm f1.8/Tamron 17-70f2.8 lens.
I need a gimbal and the option is narrowed down to : RS3 Mini, Weebill 3s (non combo because it's out of my budget), Zhiyun M3S, Moza Aircross S and Feiyu Scorp C/Mini
The gimbail will be use to take some b roll for my channel and also a portrait mode for my Instagram reels.
Also is it possible to buy a vertical-horizontal mount kit like from Falcam/Ulanzi to use a camera in a portrait mode with a non portrait-able gimbal like old Weebill 3?

Thanks for the review! I just don't get the additional plate idea, it looks like you could easily mount and use this setup without riser plate, is that correct or i'm missing something? I swap lenses and cameras between my gimbal, tripods and monopods, i wonder if i could use my setup (almost samethat you have- a7s3 with 24-70 gm I) with normal manfrotto qr plate? Can You use this lens on both ends without rebalancing with no issues?
you are correct IF your lens setup is small enough that it does not require the Riser plate. I used it because my 2470GM lens was too fat and got in the way. As for rebalancing, current gimbals including this year is very good even if its not 100% balanced. HOWEVER if you have a heavy setup it doesnt do fall short during certain movements. i would suggest a quick back/forward balance will suffice. takes 30secs.
Is it possible to mount an external monitor / recorder? On the weebill s you could just buy a third party grip with different mounting options. But it seemed that option just wasn't there with the weebill 3 and it seems that issue carried over to the S model, too.
Yes I forgot to mention top of handle ( you need to combo pack for handle) there is a mounting hole so you could mount anything you want provided you have an adaptor. Easy

Does the Sling Grip and the Wrist Rest from the 3S use the same rosetta system as the 3? Could you potentially attach the newer grip and wrist rest to the 3?
No，Weebill3S sling girp and wrist rest can't attach to the weebill3.
Thanks for the video. It's only the reduction in battery time that I don't like, the rest of the improvements look great. For a wedding with a heavy lens, im not sure it would last!
Agree , It is a shame given the shorter time but PD fast charge should get it back up running if in the pinch . I guess you could charge it during a lunch break 😂 or use a power bank.
@@MrTechTok Yes I think you can charge it with a power bank while using it - so that would solve it in an emergency.
Do you know if this cameral is comparable with the Sony A7iii? I went to the website and it does’t show this camera on there. I also tried the Weebill 3 and that one either did the A7iiii showed up. Please help
On the spreadsheet I got it says It is compatible for the m3 and m4 yes. But Can always double check with zhiyun on their instagram to confirm.
About shooting portrait/vertical with these gimbals. Why would you do the plate switch if they have a portrait/vertical mode mode on the gimbals themselves?
The plate suitable for the one who do the portrait always. The P mode suitable for temporary use but quick transfer.
its a lot more comfortable to shot portrait for extended period this way

I definitely think its an upgrade, sc was first gen, had some flaws in the design over long period use

Hello. Can you attach a monitor to 3s? Where is the connection possible to place a monitor?
You can remove the extendable sling grip, wrist rest, or tirpod to get a 1/4 inch hole, then to install the mounting braket of the monitor.
Why did you skip the part about vertical recording on gimbal 3 can we record vertically on gimbal 3 ?
Weebill3 not support vertical installation, but it with P mode for option, enter P mode for vertical shooting.
Why is it I feel they had a better design with the older weebill lab/S?

Yes, you can adjust the adjust fill light brightness/color temperature level.

I have 2 question that are stopping me to buy Zhiyun Weebill 3S:
1. What is the minimum payload?
2. Can I mount a smartphone (ex: iPhone 14) using an adapter?
This is the camera stabilizer, if you want to install the mobile phone, it is best to use the smartphone stabilizer, if you must install the mobile phone, you need to find a way to adjust the balance, generally speaking, as long as the gimbal power on before, you can manually balance the Weebill 3S well, the Weebill 3S should work normally.

So its a right hand only gimbal. Too bad you dont mention this. As well how its travel print (how good it folds). Really hope to see the 3s vs the rc3 mini. Didnt see any comparison online yet.
I don’t think it’s right hand only you can mount the handle other way around through the Mounting bracket and it doesn’t fold . U don’t want to get a gimbal that folds . Structurally it isn’t good long term. Cheers bro

I think you misunderstood, i dont mean breakdown structurally but packed for travels.
Just as a comparison to the other gimbals.
For example of it importance, my weebill S 3rd lock broke from wrongly packing, because i didnt know i can remove the main plate which is sticking out.
What is the P mode for?
P mode is the Portrait Mode

I have the worst timing! I just ordered a Weebill 3 yesterday today I found out about the Weebill 3s. It looks like its $40.00 more and well worth the extra cost. like the other commenter I'm a bit concerned about compatibility with my A7iii

yes slightly, but to be honest all gimbal a fairly good these days, your body and walking posture plays a big part too
hmm i think the reason why u didnt balance it perfectly coz the roll motor will hit your camera for the flexibility/movability
test, if u balance it perfectly, you will need to increase the camera height so the tilt will be balance

so the package doesnt include quick release plate on 3s?. What a downgrade, i would prefer quick release plate for faster set up and switching between photo and video.

@@MrTechTok yes. the rec button and power button. hard to push the rec button and the power bottom is on very bad place at weebill 3. sometimes i turn it off accidentaly. i think zhyiun has corrected these issues.

that looks pretty shaky...
try it with any gimbal or any youtube reviewer and ask them if their video is posted stablized and you will have your answer
