For those who are unfamiliar with these looks for the characters (SPOILERS):
This was just after the Outback X-Men era (so like 1988 - 1991-ish... A rough estimate based on my memory). The X-Men had been disbanded (long story). Psylocke was found by the Hand and had her body switched with the Hand assassin Kwannon's body (or "Kan'non" in today's Japanese transliteration). In this new body, she was put to work by the Hand and the Mandarin as an assassin and had no memory of who she was. Wolverine (who was recovering from his injuries after being tortured by the Reavers) and Jubilee (who hadn't become an X-Man yet) encountered Lady Mandarin (Psylocke) in Madripoor. To cut a long story short, Psylocke regained her memories, the three fought the Hand and the Mandarin, and then went about their business traveling through Asia.
This story marked one of the longest-running changes in the Marvel comics. Betsy Braddock was originally a caucasian woman from Britain. It wasn't until 2018 that she finally got her original body back. That's roughly 30 years of comics that poor Betsy was stuck in someone else's body!
Those Wolverine heads are the best hasbro has ever put out. Shame they put them on such a less cared about iteration of the character. The hair on him also looks like a huge improvement
Could've REALLY benefitted from one of the heads in the 97 wolverine being an angry one. Wouldn't have been hard for them, just reuse the vhs angry masked head.
The 97 unmasked head is the best tho
@@VoodooApex both are really good but I prefer this one just a bit more because it’s a tad more realistic, especially since the 97 head is based on the animated series
I am most excited for "ninja" Wolverine from this pack. Like Patch & Joe Fixit, they are from the early days for Wolverine's first ongoing solo series. This was not too long after I first got into X-Men comics, and so this hits my nostalgia button. Psylocke (Lady Mandarin) is cool, but we are long overdue for an original (non-asian) Betsy, and when it was rumored that we were getting a "first appearance" Psylocke, this was not what anybody had in mind.
Her hair is blowing in one direction and the cape in another.

Noticed alot of ML can't swap heads easy or at all lol 97 X-Men more so, had my Wolverine returned as stressed out the plastic to white trying, the peg is too big or the hole is too small, but something isn't right.
I’m glad you said this. I had to shave the peg down to alleviate the stress on the peg. Him, the target black widow, and the no way home spider men all had awfully tight pegs that I had to sand down. Feels like I’m going to break them if I don’t sand them a little and that’s sad.
How come they never use that soft rubber for hair???
They have the molds and the material.... Seems like it might solve some head articulation issues with long hair....

too bad she does nt have grabbing hands, I always like to give them guns
I d like to see what she looks like next to Cobra Commander, he might look fab with her as body guard
but I don t want Logan, unless this pack is 50%, I don t see myself getting it.

Even tho i think this 2 Pack looks alright.. it's an easy pass for me...ill wait for the classic armored Psylocke version.
I did pick up the Sabertooth/Logan & Patch/ Joe Fixit 2 Packs..but ill wait until they release updated classic brown & yellow & blue & yellow single card versions that will definitely be coming before i pick up another Wolverine.
Btw id like to know if you're able to use aftermarket metal claws on any of these..

Is hasbro's recent marvel release face paint having problems? I bought 2 goblins queens, both their face paints are crooked, and the LADY MANDARIN PSYLOCKE as well....

@qqqqqq4352 the Mandarin character played into a very Asian stereotype and is no longer referred to as the Mandarin.
All of these two packs suck IMO. I only want one figure from each. Patch, Lilandra, black suit Wolvie, and cowboy Wolvie. Couldn’t care less about the other figures.
