"scars are souvenirs you never lose" has always hit me hard as someone who's struggled with self-harm for 20+ years. this is one of my favorite songs to sing at karaoke, but it's also a tough one to get through without getting too emotional
Such an underrated band... they have so many great songs... though this one is sad; as a lot of their songs are when you dig into the stories behind them; they're beautiful... thank you Goo Goo Dolls for being a part of my childhood and my adulthood and for getting me through so many tough times!

They really underrated? Were pretty big in the mid/late 90s here.
