- Hello! I am Tridip, an independent cinematographer from Kolkata, India. When I was a kid I was very fond of cameras! Cameras and how to take photos, learn about exposure, ISO, the function of lights in a photo, etc. I was always curious about it.
In my early childhood, I thought that this was going to be my cup of tea. Now I am 23 and successfully pursuing my career as a professional cinematographer.
Enough of introducing myself! Now let's jump into the video!
In this video, I have captured THE CITY OF JOY from a different perspective. You must be thinking "what's so special about this video?".
I am the first person who made this cinematic drone documentary of my hometown. Here in this video, you will find exceptional cinematic shots from my Mavic 2 zoom where you will find the life of Kolkata!
It was my dream project since 2017! I have been working on it since 2018. I faced many hurdles, broke my drone twice, lost my GoPro, etc while pursuing to finish it.

Hi Tridip..... This is simply WOW !!! The hard work that you have put in to make this video is unsurpassed. I studied in Kolkata, and back then it was Calcutta..... this video is like a time machine for me. Thanks for showing Kolkata as never seen before. I remember the landmarks and streets that I walked on as a student way back in 1993, but are different now and are more beautiful. I also understand how much pain and sweat you have endured for these amazing shots.... and a crashed drone too. You deserve a million subscribers man but don't worry you'll be there pretty soon. Really awesome. It is not easy to fly drones in such a busy streets like Kolkata. That too a great video with great sync with the music. I loved to see the Dakshineshwar Temple on such a Drone shot.

It's really tough to fly these drones in the middle of something because it has sensors obstacle detection it's very tough .

I was completely impressed while viewing the video and feeling that it is really a shareable video to those who loves kolkata or who wants to see the beauty of kolkata. As a Kolkatan, I was just going to share this video in my circle, but the last part of the video i.e. the marketing part is just the irrelevant content that I found in this video and takes me just to the opposite view of this video..
