I was just about to make this comment. I will never understand how someone who places higher can be kicked out by athletes who placed lower. It seems to be a sport of favoritism
Remember at the onset of covid, all the big box stores had barricades around the storefronts? They didn't know how it was going to play out so they took precautions, it's also why they released inmates,,, to make room for the "examples" in case riots broke out. They didn't of course, b/c we are too foolish and accept whatever MSM tells us to accept. We FAILED the test miserably, the majority fell for the covid BS and now there are close to ONE MILLION deaths from the 'cure'... and countless life long serious injuries!
The side effects may not be immediate, but this fall flu season we will see unprecedented deaths, and it won't be from the FAKE DELTA variant or covid. it will be from the immune system attacking itself. Too bad people were brainwashed. NO vaccine is EVER needed! We've been killing and maiming our children for decades... trusting healthcare workers who told us.. side effects are evidence of the vaccine "working". The truth is .. side effects are the body's NORMAL response to POISON! This was Never about covid, it has been about genocide and getting us all schipped.

Her whole life has been a comeback story from the moment she was born. In another video, I think the 20 facts one, she says she was born “dead” but the doctors were able to get her breathing, obviously.

It’s because the people that placed higher than her had the same events that they were good at as Mykayla. they needed people that were good and reliable on bars/beam which is why Myk was put as alternate.

When they say, "GOOD THINGS COMES TO THOSE WHO WAIT". Yep. It happened to her this year. She won SILVER in an unexpectedly turn of events. Like faith tested her resilience first, before saying... "Yes. She waited for so long, I guess I ahve to give her the chance she have been waiting for!". Thats why we shoudl not lose hope, it must not be a good year for all of us this year...but we have more years ahead of us. :)

@@LoyaFrostwind Most countries don't have as much money in the sport. Most countries don't have as much of a culture around athletics. Most countries don't have such a large population. What would Myk look like if she grew up in, say, Canada?

One of my friends’ daughter was on her way to being an elite gymnast, but she went to Martha’s camp on their ranch and she basically said “F this!” She went right before the Larry N stuff came out. She was/ is so talented, but she decided that she just wanted to be a normal kid and be with her friends & enjoy school. Her mom was disappointed, but whatever happened at camp really made her change her mind.
Before it came out? So he was still working there?

That she was able to recognize an abusive environment and stepped away from it, even if she loved re sport, says a lot about how you raised her. I hope she didn’t meet that awful man.

I watched the qualifications and the polish commentator said that Myk represents the USA as a specialist and most likely she is a beam specialist because she carries out very difficult elements with great self-confidence. I was amazed. Beam was🔥👏
@N L yeah but that's the range that these judges were scoring. Look at Jade Careys score in qualifications.
@N L if you are convinced that Mykayla would do that to Jade then why didn't she do it to Grace? I don't buy that Mykayla had anything to do with any social media campaign. That's not how teams are chosen.
@N L are you a gymnast? Or were you ever? Mykayla works just as hard as everyone else. And because her body is just different doesn't mean she deserves it any less than someone that has a body that bends and is more flexible. Mykayla, if anything has to work twice as hard because of that. And she deserves to be an Olympian too.

Had it been the old format of 5 on the team, Myk would have not made the Olympics at all. It would have been Simone, Suni, Jordan, Grace, and Jade. Be glad for the 2020/2021 format that allowed the US to send 6 gymnasts instead of 5.

This year's Olympics overall have been terrible, not handled well and the lack of spectators has just made everything feel so off. Definitely dystopian future vibes. You are one of the most tenacious gymnasts I know of. I am so happy that you are getting the opportunity to compete on vault and I hope you win a medal. In the beginning I thought you would not make it but after your run at Trials I thought it was a real possibility. You really would deserve it and you would really set an example that you need to follow your dream no matter what to prove people like me that doubted you wrong.
