    2:25:23 I love watching other people get scared, but i can't put the sound down cause i feel like I'll miss the context and I end up getting so scared loll. Games like Resident evil are a lot because the music and the suspense is so scary

    we didn't evolve from monkeys; monkeys and humans both evolved from some distant common ancestor. but it's okay bc this wasn't scripted; they 100% just told jun he believes in aliens and then he had to come up with some kind of reason why by himself lol. I don't think he did too badly, he sounded properly conspiracy theorist.

      also mar tian's age is i think a true mystery because he called wonwoo his dongsaeng before and wonwoo's supposed to be in high school, but if mar tian was 14 he would not be older than wonwoo. probably.

      Yes! I do my best to specify that sometimes the subs feel awkward in American English but not awkward in other Englishes... But sometimes I forget to say it or don't realize it's only Americans that would feel that way 😅 Thanks for the input! -

    Is 달걀 derived from 닭알 as in chicken + egg?! This is why I started watching your channel I find these kind of knowledge so interesting and fun lol. That makes so much sense because for 닭 (and similar syllables) isn't true that technically if you were to say 닭을 or whatever it's pronounced as 달글 because of the rule that when a syllable that ends in a consonant is followed by a syllable starting with a vowel (i.e. has ㅇ place holder at the beginning) then the consonant from the previous syllable is transferred (?) and takes the place of the place holder. Other examples are like 없어 being pronounced 업서 or 앉아 being pronounced like 안자. Simpler examples too like 먹어 being more like 머거 or 밥이 being more like 바비 etc.
    Edit: at the garlike part now and the (너)만을 being basically the same as 마늘 is a perfect example!

      Yes exactly! Usually the 받침 (bottom symbol) carries over to the next vowel, but as in every language there are exceptions ☺️

    I'm curious, how to learn the hanja for korean characters and so well?

    • @seannatv
      @seannatv  Před 5 měsíci

      Lots of memorization and practice! I used to take Chinese character (Kanji) tests at Japanese school all the time (and failed many 😅) It helps to learn the radicals, aka sections of each hanja/character and what they mean.
