Thanks so much! She definitely knows how to keep the conversation going :) Thanks for watching, we'll be doing many more recipes in the near future so stay tuned 🙌🙌🥴
So no garlic either? I've been doing thai style but my sister likes the traditional khmer style so I'm trying to learn it but I feel like garlic really enhances the flavor so I didn't know khmer doesn't use it.
@@StoryBites. hopefully I get to try her cooking one day. New Zealand is definitely on my bucket list. StoryBites, you made excellent contents on your channel. I am glad I found you by accident.
Who made you the Cambodian expert? 😂shrimp paste is used in Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Lao, Cambodian, Malaysian, Filipino, Indonesian cooking 🤦♂️ also papaya salad hailed from Laos, so thai papaya salad was derived from Lao cuisine, they are not the original. The original can only be one or the other, not both
When I went to Cambodia 🇰🇭 I tried The Bok Lahong ( Papaya Salad ) It’s so yummy and addicting ❤
So so good right? Thanks for watching
I enjoyed hearing about how she came to love papaya salad. It is one of my favorites too. Great video quality!

I really like this video. Could you write down ingredients for this food? I really want to try it out. Thank you.
That’s really good to know! Let me ask the chef and I’ll get back to you!
👍👍👍👍👍🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰❤️
YES YES !:)
ปากบอกว่าส้มตำ Cambodia way แต่เครื่องปรุงเป็นของไทยซะงั้น
งั้นมันจะเป็นรสชาติของCambodia ได้อย่าไร
The world is changing! :) we’ve got to be open to diversification
Yep, your papaya salad is definitely Thai or Lao. Cambodian don’t use shrimp fish.
100% Rom is super good at understanding how certain flavours are put together
