ملتان ایشیا کے سب سے قدیم مسلسل آباد شہروں میں سے ایک ہے، جس کی تاریخ قدیم دور تک پھیلی ہوئی ہے۔ قدیم شہر مشہور ملتان سن ٹیمپل کا مقام تھا، اور مالیان مہم کے دوران سکندر اعظم نے اس کا محاصرہ کیا تھا۔ وسیع پنجاب کا ایک تاریخی ثقافتی مرکز، اسے اموی فوجی کمانڈر محمد بن قاسم نے فتح کیا تھا۔ یہ شہر بعد میں بن گیا۔ بعد ازاں غزنویوں، غوریوں اور مملوکوں جیسی سلطنتوں کے زیر تسلط آنے سے پہلے 855ء میں امارت ملتان کے دار الحکومت کے طور پر آزاد ہوا۔ 1445 میں یہ لانگاہ سلطنت کا دار الحکومت بنا۔ 1526 میں اسے مغل سلطنت نے فتح کر لیا۔ ملتان صوبہ مغلیہ سلطنت کے سب سے بڑے صوبوں میں سے ایک بن جائے گا جب اسے شہنشاہ اکبر کی انتظامی اصلاحات کے ذریعے بنایا گیا تھا۔ اس کے بعد ملتان پے در پے درانی اور سکھ سلطنتوں کا حصہ بن گیا۔ 1848 میں اسے برطانوی سلطنت نے فتح کیا اور برطانوی پنجاب کا حصہ بن گیا۔ آزادی کے بعد یہ پاکستان کا حصہ بن گیا۔In this video Discover Pakistan Tv show you the amazing facts about Multan.
Multan is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Asia, with a history stretching deep into antiquity. The ancient city was the site of the renowned Multan Sun Temple,and was besieged by Alexander the Great during the Mallian Campaign.A historic cultural centre of the wider Punjab, it was conquered by the Ummayad military commander Muhammad bin Qasim.The city later became independent as the capital of the Emirate of Multan in 855 A.D., before subsequently coming under the rule of empires such as the Ghaznavids, the Ghurids and the Mamluks. In 1445, it became capital of the Langah Sultanate. In 1526, it was conquered by the Mughal Empire. Multan Subah would become one of the largest provinces of the Mughal Empire when it was created by administrative reforms of Emperor Akbar. Afterwards, Multan became part of the Durrani and Sikh empires successively. In 1848, it was conquered by the British Empire and became part of British Punjab. After independence, it became part of Pakistan.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I miss my Beloved City Multan. I wish I can come back in my city. Lived in every province almost every major city but never found any city beautiful than Multan. No matter how much hot weather or dust I never felt discomfort. People are sweetest of all. Follow traditions, modesty and give utmost respect. The taste of Multani Food is incredible. Never found the flavour drenched fish anywhere. The soohan halwa, naan Chany, golgappay, khoya kheer and mangoes are best. I love My city. I wish I become mayor of this town like Naseem Siddiqui and will bring much more betterment of its people. Bundle of Thanks for encasing our city so beautifully. ❤❤❤❤

Is it a myth that examiners don’t appreciate the candidates appearing from Multan based centers while checking css papers as they’ve a perception of being backward about Multanis. I’m appearing for second time and now i I’m worried about my attempt as I’ve failed in essay in 2023 with 27 marks obtained
