GBA Bowser Castle 3 is undoubtedly my favorite. The music the background the thwomps, I’m so glad I grew up with that track on the Wii

It’s probably my least favorite cus it’s just a port and it’s worse than the Wii version
6:28 Voidsource deserves a medal for creating this magnificent fan made track of the GBA Bowser Castle 4. It’s such a fantastic glow up from the original, and I can honestly just picture that track in the next Mario Kart game if Nintendo decides to finally make it official!

Honestly it will never make sense to me why it took so long for the BCP to even get a Bowser's Castle. Also GBA Bowser's Castle music is definitely one of the the best 🔥
I'm always a little disappointed when it's just the model from the older games ported into MK8/DX, especially when there are obstacles and hazards missing from the original. Like, that's not "What if this track was recreated in Mario Kart 8?", that's just "What if we ported the model straight over and changed barely anything?"

That was the exact thing done with GBA BC3. It's the same model used for the Wii version, and it doesn't include the Thwomps. It might be bc it's an early or beta release, though(?) Dunno

Damn, these are some great track recreations! For the most part, they've made them fit rather nicely into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's art style, and modernised the layouts to feel more like something you might see in a Booster Course Pass retro than one from DS/Wii/7.
Hard to choose a favourite, but the one from Mario Kart 64 might be it for me. Love the way they reimagined it, what with the glider section between the towers at the end.

I could see SNES Bowser Castle 2 working especially well in a future remake if they transform the dead end into a gliding ramp

MK8 modding may have been shabby at first, but it's improving ever since!
Give it like a year or two and well start to see some crazy improvements like in Mario kart wii

Dude why they didn’t use the Tour GBA Bowser castle
For the next game they should let you stomp the Goombas if you crash into them while gliding or if you land on top of them, as if you jumped off a ramp, and extra points if they make them drop Mushrooms when hit again, or maybe just Coins like in the 3D Marios

Gotta say, Bowser’s Castle from GP looks genuinely scary. I dunno what it is, but it gives off a real intimidating vibe that really works for Bowser as a bad guy. I really dig that.
