    I bought this bike and have been ridding it around be a bike now. Pros: tires are great, bike rides smooth, handlebar wrap is good. Cons: paint is thin and scratches easily, brakes howling and screeching after many miles still, the front chainring twists a little bit under pedaling when standing on it, the saddle is painful and puts pressure on the wrong male parts.

    @MrOnlinenow Před 17 dny +1

    The weight of this bike is listed as 30.4 lbs on the Walmart website, which, although not light, is still much lighter than 36 lbs. I don't understand why there is such a significant difference. Additionally, LTWOO is a Chinese bicycle parts manufacturer (according to their website, they are the largest bicycle parts manufacturer in China), and the R2 is considered an entry-level model from this manufacturer. Bikes in the $500 range sold by Chinese manufacturers in their local market are usually equipped with the R7 kit, which offers 10-speed functionality.

    • @chickensendies
      @chickensendies  Před 16 dny

      The only thing that comes to mind for me over the weight description is that it is for the small one and not the medium one.

    thanks for the weight. Surprised to see how heavy it is-and that is a heavy 6001 aluminum frame. Still a great value for anyone.
    Still may be the current best brand new bike for a 12 year old that wants a"gravel bike".( I would have been in love with this when I was 12)
    Not sure it is the first best option for an adult that thinks they will really get into the sport.

    My wife bought this bike online for me for my birthday. Very nice but as with anything shipped to you there is the greater chance for damage. The fork is bent forward aft. Couldn't get front wheel even close to installed without some cold setting and blade coercion, lol. Just have to get the disc mount s a little tough love. Ain't steel great. Beware of loose or overtightened wheel bearings as well as headset. Good luck.

    Got said bike on Friday and I am thoroughly impressed the shifting is better out of the box than my Norco Bigfoot and my Vitus sentier. And the brakes are too bad other than the squealing, only other thing I noticed was either the front wheel is warped a little tiny bit or the tire is wonky

    I flirted with the idea of grabbing one of these but wasn’t aware of all the compromises made to get it to this price point.
