I think this looks like a visually pretty upgrade to the rather dark splash mountain, it may not be iconic as splash but it looks more refreshing to ride especially during the night
The sad thing is you never had to choose one over the other. Splash Mountain could have just used an actual update. And they could have made it look just as visually pleasing without losing the iconic ride.
@@GTNover you could say that for Disney world since they will have to rebuild their Frontierland because of the rides retheme, but I think Disneylands will make sense since it is basically right next to New Orleans square, and California had old animatronics that weren’t built for moist condition, but whatever Disney will continue to screw up their parks so might as well find one positive thing to say and let the past be the past
@SlushysSecret Disneyland's makes more sense, you're absolutely right. But neither of them make more sense than keeping their iconic ride. I agree we need to look at the positives, which there will be some. But I think now is still a good time to voice our issues with removing Splash Mountain.
@@GTNover Too late to do that, we had about 2 years to do speak out
@SlushysSecret from a monetary perspective, it is very impactful for a business to hear negative comments for years after the major change. It's definitely not too late to let them know this change has had an impact. That way they listen to us next time. If we all just moved on and only focused on the positive, they literally have no incentive to listen to us the next time.
Ooooo purple looks so pretty at night! ✨💜✨ So does all of Frontierland, especially BTM 🚂
I totally agree! But also doesn't the smoke/mist look blue? 🥰💗
@@chrissievillanueva5384 yes, the blue is pretty too 💙
Frontierland at night is awesome
It looks so pretty at night. Loving the look of everything.
Love Tiana ❤
Wish ppl stop hating ❤

its the ride itself not the movie
It's fine on it's own it's just the ridiculous reasoning for removing Splash Mountain.
@@hhasteNot really. A movie about wishing on a star and magic fits perfectly in Magic Kingdom
@@hhasteSplash Mpuntain was a theme park ride based on an old rarely seen movie and named after an unrelated 80s movie most people have never heard of (or realized it was named after). You don't need any other reason to replace/update it other then that, lol.
The PatF overlay for splash was in the works for a long time, longer then most people realize. It just fits and looks gorgeous. People were upset about guardians replacing ToT in Cali, but that's an amazing use of that ride system.
Just like with that, for every upset (or angry for whatever reason... its still just a park ride...) person, there's dozens of people excited or oblivious to what was there before it who will love Tianas and create their own memories and will be none the wiser.
after riding splash for decades, this just looks like an upgrade in every way. The music, the characters, the animatronics, etc
@@Primogen18 The hatred isn't being driven by nostalgia. The complainers are all a bunch of fragile little snowflakes whining about their anti-woke bubble being challenged.
I just noticed all the twinkling of "fireflies" what a great evening lighting package. I'm terrified of the ride, but it looks amazing.
I’m just glad the wait times will be tremendously short with all the people that are never going to ride this ride again.
I know right. Every comment that says this is a terrible ride, I ask where the POV is on their channel and I never get an amswer...
@@Primogen18Right! Everyone is judging before they actually experience the ride for themselves. I think it's going to be fun!
Love that it still has 📸
woooo splash mountain!!
Magic Kingdom will be Beyond Big Thunder
It’s missing something to make it an iconic. It’s just blah design wise. They should’ve at least revamp or invented that dead tree with Mama Oldie’s treehouse boat. I’m going to give it an IC for the exterior incomplete.
Looks amazing! Can’t wait until it opens at Disneyland 😍
Will see about that
Well, I at least hope Hobby Lobby gave Iger and Company a discount on the foliage for the bulk purchase.
Why is there a mountain in the bayou?
Disney has lost its way.
I know right, I mean everything at the park otherwise is 100% realistic, like the talking mice or especially singing bears playing music next door, lol. #losttheirway
Exactly
That is absolutely stunning. I was pretty heartbroken over splash closing, albeit for the right reasons, but this looks straight up magical. If the whole ride has this color scheme, like the avatar ride, I might even consider it an upgrade. Can’t wait for the full release.
Im really hoping that Disneyland gets the same lighting for Tiana's Bayou Adventure
Oh they already said it won’t
They said Florida exclusive lighting package
They will have consequences
After Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens for previews, I want to hear how well it will be received.
Looks scary
Hope Disneyland's version opens soon!
Look how clean the shops are at closing. Impecible.
🖤🤕💩
This re-theme is ABSOLUTE CRAP!!!!! Disney took one of the most beloved and most popular ride and destroyed it.
Oh boo hooo…
@@danshull1331 boo hoo yourself.
Im looking for the POV on your channel of this ride, where is it?
Agreed
