I think the containers are good for start up, before you own the sawmill, you can earn a chunk of cash. Then once you own the sawmill you can make all things and all the stuff!
Have to say VF. Your one of the only FS22 YT's that I can sit and watch consistently. I'm sort of doing a play along to this series as I didn't really know where to start properly with forestry and your way of playing I feel is really enjoyable. Looking forward to carrying on as I watch through your series. 😀

You have to use the 12m container if you want to see 100k sales, also the dlc low loader has a control to extend itself to accommodate the largest container...
The idea of the containers are very nice. But with their use limited to either early game or when your productions are all full, I think there could have been more uses. Other productions like the sawmill should be abl eto load into a trailer too.

Once you have cut the trees down VF would it be made easier to grind the stumps off making it easier for the loader. Looking forward to getting on this platform very soon want to get my eye tracker set up first alot more visuals needed here. Great vid ad always buddy
I think the containers woudvwork great for other productions. Hopefully someone mskes a mod for that.
There is a mod with other containers, a yard handler and trailers that has an autoload feature but they can't be sold the same way as the dlc versions.
get the lizard logger trailer mod, this trailer is so easy to load with the wheel loader, actually faster than containers, also I have never seen any logging trailers that are in fs22 in real life, I work in the logging industry in Canada and we never seen those.
Quick tip go to the back and work your way out.

I don't understand im on Xbox my container wondering auto loading them ? What am i doing wrong?
I did 2 full 6m containers earlier. I got about $97k . I swear the 6m pay the most.
On easy, normal or hard economy settings?
@@justinmunzlinger8471 Easy. On normal everything is 60% of easy. On hard everything is 1/3rd the price of easy. It should go across the board. 8m is also high paying. Maybe higher than six slightly.
Need to do 12 and 9 . Most trees will prosses down into the 2 lengths with minimal waste.
I thought u would of did what I gave u the idea of pulling tree's to excavator so all logs are in same place
I find if you do two 6 m confaniairs you get more out of it money wise
I put (5) 6m containers on one trailer by turning them sideways.
Do you need mods for all the forestry stuff or does some machines come with the game
Some are base game, some are mods, but lots are also included in the Platinum Expansion.
Can you take a container to the old sawmill once you own it to add timber? I tried and even put the whole container in the water. I could only get it to take it with an open log trailer.
@@nixburtda11 I don't want to sell it, I want to put it in the old sawmill for production. I just wanted to use containers because I play on console and the autoload timber containers are so much easier to use than loading into an open trailer
