- Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier discussed ufc 295 main event between Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka and how Alex Pereira became the first brazilian two division ufc champion
#ufc #alexpereira #joerogan #danielcormier #ufc295 - Sport
Alex Periera's run in Glory was already legendary. He didn't need the UFC.
All of this happened because Isreal decided to poke the bear.
It's hilarious, gizzy should of kept his mouth shut, now his nemesis is doing what gizzy was unable to do.... classic.
The beat drop on izzy getting slept 😂
I was a Fan of Izzy....but Alex made me a Fan of him! Izzy is so awkward this times! Alex did everything,Izzy wanted to do in less time👌 and he is still humble😎👍
Was a fan? UFC fans are crazy fickle
@@Denchanter i don't like how He is acting these days...you know😉
@@Denchanterhave you not seen how Isreal has behaved since Alex entered the promotion?
At best, he's a cringe trashtalker that bragged about his Tim Silvia-esc performances. At worse, he's a criminal who does creepy things to his dogs.
Alex is a brilliant man, dad, husband and team mate. And also double champ !
Dude couldn’t beat alcoholism for his own children, but could overcome it by getting trolled online. Really tells you what kind of person he is

@@mr.iloveroblox2577 don’t think they care their dad is a successful man and the new double champ everyone talks about him while everyone has already forgotten about Izzy who can’t handle a loss and wants to basically retire.
(3-1 btw and I think everyone agrees if Izzy moves to LH it will be 4-1 I think Izzy knows that too cause after the call out decided to laugh instead of taking on the challenge)
Izzy probably in a bar sayin “i beat this guy once”
Professor Glover…bring in the heavyweight wrestling talent from PA. Inexpensive and abundant. Take down defense…heavy sprawls! He will clean out the division and retire undefeated at light Heavy. Oss.
Izzy would never beat John jones
Duh
COME TO DADDY
Change his name to Champion Killer
Poatan, the best of The best. 👊👊
My favorite fighter!
Is it so much to ask for these "content creators" to maybe take 10 minutes to actually listen to the video and proofread the subtitles?
I mean, besides stuff like names the regular CZcams automatic subtitles are more accurate.
alex poatan glory 🏆🏆 ufc 🏆 🏆 👉 Adesanya 3-1 ⚰️ strickland ⚰️ jan ⚰️ jiri ⚰️ 🗿🐐🏹👑
0:55 prelims* as in preliminaries
He probably used AI for the subtitles lmao 😂
@@everrunic8375 he wants to fight out of sania as well when they clearly said adesanya..
Crazy how long Jones was the LHW champ, how many dudes became Champa in his absence
Right
His first absence from being a drug cheat 1 man held and defended the belt against all challengers that man’s name is Daniel Cormier the second best lhw and hw of all time
🗿🗿🗿
And yet there are still people who think it was an early stoppage 😂😂😂
Thats two early stoppages in his only two title fights js ufc had planned this out for him the entire time lol but frfr dudes story is getting almost as good as francis
@@trintonjones738 well his unconscious eyes and limp body (front camera yall seem to ignore) until he the canvas wakes him up, AND Jiri saying “It was a good stoppage, I was out” says otherwise.
By unified Rules (which is on the UFC website bc that’s what they go by) once an opponent is out, it should be called at that moment. #DENIAL!!!!!!!!!

Izzy almost fought all the top 10 and even gave other's rematches while for Alex we are yet to see.
As much as I like Pereira, he’s already 36, so most likely his UFC legacy won’t be as great as Adesanya’s. If only he joined the UFC earlier in his combat sports career.
Izzy has always been like Rhonda Rousey all hype. He in no way came close to what The Spider or Jon Jones. Most of his fights were boring and when you look at the totality of who he has fought. He didn't fight top tier fighters, current or former champs in his first ten fights. So the potan can fight ten more fights in three years and accomplish far more than what Izzy has done and retire at 40. Having won multiple titles in two weight classes in two different combat sports organizations.
Poatan glory 🏆🏆 ufc 🏆🏆 Adesanya was undefeated until Poatan arrived and destroyed him 3-1 🤷 👉⚰️adesanya ⚰️ strickland ⚰️ jan ⚰️jiri 🤷🗿🐐🏹 adesanya in his entire career has never faced giants at the level that alex faced
@@zack1321 it’s already greater than Izzy’s lmfao double champ in like 7 fights beating 4 champions and being 3-1 vs Izzy himself. Also the dudes got a legendary fighting career he will likely end as being a hall of famer in two different promotions. Dudes a beast.
*promosm* 🎉
Double champ without facing any wrestlers. This is more business than MMA.
I love Alex, he’s my fav current fighter. but yes, UFC had him earmarked for success and interested into making him the LHW champ bc striking pays the bills. They’ll keep ankalaev away from him. He’ll fight jamahal hill, maybe one more guy, and then final fight with Izzy before retiring.
His first opponent was a grappler and a BJJ black belt. So not entirely
@@Channel4Snakes You mean Andreas Michaelidis? He is not a great wrestler but even he got two takedowns on Pereira in the first round. I meant more any high class wrestlers.
To be fair, he was weight bullying at Middleweight; which makes Izzy winning the MMA rematch all the more impressive. But this guy truly belongs at LHW and could even compete at HW if he didn't cut at all or more realistically if he bulked up just a lil bit.
Everyone would do the same if they could. It makes no sense to diminish someone's accomplishments because of their physical abilities in an inherently physical contest. It makes as much sense as saying "to be fair, fighter A was just bigger, stronger, faster, and recovered from damage more quickly than fighter B."
Should we go "well Shaq was a dominant center in his prime, but to be fair he was bigger and stronger than everyone else in the league"?
@@AirLancerthere aren’t weight divisions in basketball buddy 🤡🤡🤡
There isn't such thing called 'weight bullying'. And everybody that forces to lose that amount of weight, suffers from losing power and chin. It is a tradeoff...
Cope. He was heavier but more drained. What is your point? Izzy got lucky e handed that hook and would never happen again. Also, Izzy is ducking him because he knows he can't win again
@@TheMarcosHZlmao sounds like youre coping. Dont forget who sent him to lhw fella got slept so badly he literally left mw for good 😂😂
Yes he di but context....He's a great warrior no doubt but I would've respected the achievement more if he had gone through some of the warriors Izzy defeated.
To be fair he beat Jan and strickland who both beat izzy... and they're current or former champs
Adesanya ⚰️ 3-1 strickland ⚰️ jan ⚰️ jiri ⚰️ 🤫🤫🤫
He’s not a two division champ, he has been champ in two different divisions. Stop saying he did what izzy couldn’t do you haters, izzy tried to hold two belts at the same time.
No one is hating on Izzy, but the matter of the fact is, he did what he couldn’t do.
Well izzy isnt the champ in any division now 😂
@@ynotds6205 it’s not the same, he did not have the MW belt anymore
For the lhw belt he beat a dude who had been away for two years and who had almost lost to a 42 yr old.
Cope harder
the 42 years old was a champion at his prime
jiri would beat up 99% of the light heavyweights he'd destroy jamahal
@@TheMarcosHZ there's no coping. Just facts
@@risottonero4501 if it was his prime, why would he retire right after
Nah any non casual would rightfully know that Alex Lost against Yan just like Izzy but UFC needs to create this narrative of Alex did it before Izzy which is False. Alex did not win that Yan fight inurn making this lightheavyweight belt non-Valid in the eyes of a non-casual.
You won for “the most delusional comment of the week” 🤡 simply EVERY SINGLE MMA PUNDIT (including John Aniker, Joe Rogan, Kenny Florian, DC, Bisping etc) agreed that Alex beat Yan fair and square. You’re pathetic 🤣
Alex is also 30 pounds heavier than Izzy and his natural weight class is 205 not middleweight. Izzy natural weight class is middleweight. I love how everyone forgets that Izzy fast tracked Alex massively to stardom and unlike so many that came before him at the highest level avenged his title with the most impressive KO in UFC history. Alex never defended. Izzy is a 7 time and two time world champion. He is also the most active champion the UFC has ever seen. These accomplishments are phenomenal and Alex has not risen above them, they are just different. Their stories aren't finished. They are being written. Fans need to stop the BS disrespect.
Izzy also molested his dog, paint nails and ducked Alex on the trilogy. Alex is the better man all around. Man has class, is stronger, a better stricker and did what Izzy could never. Izzy is now in a pub talking about how he beat Alex that ONE time
Edson barsosa, Dustin poirier, micheal Johnson, coner mcgregor all natural 145 and khabib walks around 200 pounds n yet again people like you call him the goat 😂
All true. Only thing I don’t agree is the narrative that Izzy was playing possum in the second fight. The truth is Alex was dominating and got careless going for clear knockout. Instead Izzy, in survival mode, found his target and landed a beautiful right hand. The rest is history. Dropping all that weight to fight at middle weight was crazy. I truly believe he did it because he needed Izzy for the fast track and knocked out his few opponents to get there. If Izzy wasn’t afraid or needed the $ it would be a big $$$ fight for the belt at light heavyweight. Let’s hope Jamahal heals up quickly and in there with Alex asap.
Adesanya got schooled for 5 rounds by a journeyman fighter in strickland and he’s ducking the free light heavyweight title shot
@@InkRoy02Dustin walk around weight 190 goofy 😂
Yeah coz he's a 205er and Izzy is 185er
Just be grateful Izzy gave him a chance
Alex ave him a chance for another belt, buy gizzy is too afraid and wont fight at 205.
Tried to pay him back, but gizzy is too much of a coward......(see strickland fight)
The weight cheat, I imagine these two would have recognized him for what he was. Let him enjoy fighting in his natural weight class.
Everyone could cut that weight if they wanted to they lack the fortitude and ability to suffer through it and recover and compete calling that cheating is clearly someone who hasn't done it.
@@westsidera97 Even if you do cut the weight, you regain back your weight. It's still cheating.
You must be the last fan Izzy has😂😂😂
@@westsidera97right? 'Weight cheat' is the stupidest term ever. 😂

Jiri could continue to fight... The referee was a good idiot... Why did U cut the clip? MDFKRS
Jiri said otherwise. His opinion is more important than yours . Guess who's the idiot here? That's you alone.
Jiri was k.oed 2 times in less than 10 seconds, if he kept fighting could get permanent brain damage, especially in the position he was in, he lost man, just deal with it
Stop your crying, little girl, your boyfriend lost bad.
Blud ignore that Jiri said it’s the right call
This is why MMA is hard to enjoy. People bitch about the stoppages in the vast majority of fights.
And Alex failed to do what Izzy did, defend his belt 😂 there’s more shame in failing your first title defence than failing at double champ
Lmao just accept Alex's combat sports career as a whole is much better and more complete then Izzy's, also Izzy is stopping for a couple of years in the meanwhile who knows what Alex could still achieve like defending his LHW belt
@@TheFightHubb people ridiculed Conor for not defending his belt, yet look past it in Alex’s case. What he’s done is amazing, but he is also one of the fighters with the most dana white privilege ever
