Cole and Jackie..naturally fit in..no awkward or forced love connect. They are two broken pieces that fit/fix each other so perfectly 🔥😍 that’s why she could never lie to him, could share her true emotions n he grew up in her presence 🫶
These two are both broken souls due to two tragedies. Their moms are best friends. Their chemistry is really unbreakable! What they have is so real and pure, not forced. They’re each other’s purpose and soulmate/person! They’re meant to be together!

No. Cole’s mom is still alive. Cole’s tragedy is that he injured one of his leg which ended his football career. Jackie’s tragedy is that she lost her family due to an accident. Cole’s parents took her in after Jackie’s family died. Jackie’s mom is dead along with her older sister and dad.
Spoken like a true teenager who doesn’t understand that cheating and hurting people especially family is not how you find love. Just not realistic. Us older adults understand through experience that you never base a relationship on chemistry, attraction and obsession which Jackie is clearly. She’s obsessed with Cole and is ignoring all the red flags that this show is portraying about Cole. The writers know exactly what they are doing, pointing out these points and highlighting Paige’s regret in what she did.

@@lakeshow-vq1rm In the book she ends up with Cole though. I am not a teenager (I'm 27) and don't consider Cole a walking red flag at all. If anything, I would say that Alex is obsessed with beating Cole and that if anything it a major red flag.
i love that they are changing each other without even being together. Cole has slowly changed for the better and Jackie is slowly getting better after losing her family just by having each other in their lives
Imagine Cole and Jackie end up having a daughter together who’s named after Jackie’s older sister with Cole’s eyes and Cole and Jackie’s dimples when they’re married 😫

I enjoyed the show but Jackie’s lost her whole family, but her grief seems to have been set aside, her life is literally turned upside down. Family, friends, school, your home as you always knew it has gone. The boys are a distraction but Maybe we’ll see a bit more about what she’s dealing with internally in the next season because it just doesn’t sit right. She’s got a lot going on without chucking a love triangle of Brothers into the mix. She’s too mature for Alex, but she seems to helping heal Cole’s issues, Maybe he can help hers.

I think this show won’t go as the books suggest. I thinks that’s why they are highlighting certain truths like the Cole effect, Paige regrets in cheating on Alex with his brother, Jackie running away at the end after doing the same exact thing she accused Paige of. Right now Jackie is not a likable character at all after what she did knowingly to Alex. And Alex is just to fragile of a person to just forgive Jackie for what she did. This show has a very long way to go and I just don’t see the writers making her out to be the toxic girl who will hurt someone just to get what she wants. Right now it’s Cole but that could change as the show progresses. I’m really hoping she takes accountability for what she did because it gets no lower than messing around with brothers. They definitely need to develop her character because as of now, I have absolutely no respect for her. I expected it from Cole but not Jackie. She was too smart and caring of Alex for her to do him like that
I agree somewhat with this. But I find Alex toxic the way he was being clingy and extra with Jackie and constantly distrusting her and the jealousy over Jackie and Cole but mostly Cole. Jackie is going through a lot and her emotions are high and she is confused when Alex showed her the sun rays she kissed him and when Cole fixed the teapot she did the same. When Cole in the truth and dare game went to kiss Alex but she vomitted Jackie later went home and tried to kiss Alex. Alex calling his friend a dude is also a bit slack since she actually loves him. I think Jackie and Cole are more organic. Cole doesn’t really have relationships and everyone is aware and he knows he flirts but it doesn’t mean anything he is clear on who he is and that doesn’t make him bad and the girls think he is hot that is not his fault either but also he is also older so he is more sure on what he wants he is just unsure about his own academic future. Jackie running away is not the right thing to do nor like her. But I would much prefer if she just went away for the summer break and came back to figure and sort it all out and face the consequences. Don’t forget she kissed Cole, then he kissed her back and then she pulled him back. But Cole will take the blame because everyone thinks he is like that. I would also like life to not stop for the two brothers. I kind of want S2 to start with everyone back from their summer breaks evolved and 🔥 and I would like Jackie to choose Cole not do the Alex-Cole-Alex-Cole. Then I would like to see how Cole is in a relationship and how she is in a proper one. I would also like to see stories from the other characters develop as well.. this can take place in later seasons. But i hope they do right by this because it has a LOT of potential.
@@salmah12311 well that’s not being toxic because what he was doing didn’t affect Jackie nor Cole negatively. How he felt he displayed and was very upfront with Jackie and Cole. That’s not toxic. He hit Cole because of what Cole said to him and Cole deserved it. So your definition of toxic is wrong. Not factual even a little. Him being clingy isn’t a toxic trait whatsoever because she could’ve told him that and I’m sure he would’ve toned it down. Actually Cole was jealous of Alex and the reason Cole went into a down spiral when Jackie chose Alex over him. He insisted that Jackie should’ve chose him instead and started provoking Alex. So we definitely see it differently
When you find your person, nothing else matters. it was just matter of time they had to heal/ find each others true feelings 🫶.
