I would like to ^^... But all I can do is giving you few tips, because it's the practice that changes everything... (I made my first AMV over 7 years ago...)
1st of all, you have to choose a music that fits the style of anime you choose, so that the beat of the sequences fits with the beat of the music.
2nd, download the more clip possible (opening or REAL extract of episode or complete episodes.
3rd, choose your sequence with the logic you want (clip VS lyrics, clip VS timing, historycal sequences, etc...)
last of all... sometimes, only half of a second can change everything, so take time to cut your sequences so that it fits the music...
