Not everyone's hair is going to look the same in twists! Due to different curl patterns, hair porosity, etc... Just work on refining your twisting technique & parting. Our hair is beautiful and magical ❤️

My hair is thick and I’ve never had any balding around my edges or otherwise. Stop trying to dictate how others wear their hair. It quite literally has nothing to do with anyone except the person wearing the style.

Have you tried putting your hair into 4 sections then putting a scrunchy or string all the way down your hair? I do it then go to sleep and it stretches my hair without heat
My shrinkage is so bad but over time when you care for your natural hair with good products it grows… just have to get through that awkward stage. It’s rewarding 💕
My hair is huge in a fro but so fine that it never looks juicy when I braid or twist it, BUT it's still a simple low maintenance style! Embracing our natural aesthetics is the level of confidence I love to see!
When I twist my hair, I put a huge clip at the root while I twist so the top of the section doesn't get overly twisted as I twist down the section. I figured this out because sometimes my weakest strands would break at the root from the twisting and I could hold that section of hair up and see through it (see the uneven hair).

id say twist it and then stretch the twist everyone hair shrinks a bit

Use some metal hair clips at the ends of the twist to weight them down while they dry
