I'm getting baptized tomorrow and I had a little doubt. To distract myself I typed "Christian stand up" and I came across Micheal Jr who I didn't know and had never heard of. I was laughing and then it's as if he was talking to me.
1- I came to laugh, EXPECTATION
2- He starts to preach, ALTERATION
3-his message it's exactly what im going through, REVELATION
4- I'm surely getting baptized tomorrow 😁, TRANSFORMATION
This is the most transformative Christian comedy I've ever watched. I'm in awe of how God is using him to draw men unto him and I pray he continues to keep him in the way. Much love.
@Julius Sims yeah he gives away his merchandise to anyone who can't afford to pay for it and he doesn't charge for his acts in church settings. He shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere he goes. He has a nonprofit organization that helps people all over the world. Sure he gets paid for comedy clubs.. do you work? Do you expect to be paid? He MORE than gives back. Do you give back? Do you share the love of God with others? Judgement is an attitude that doesn't look good on anyone. Jesus died for ALL and wants everyone to know Him. God loved us BEFORE we ever had a chance to sin the first time.. He knows EVERYTHING about each of us and everything we will do AND STILL chooses us! It's not about what we can do to get clean.. it's about receiving the gift of salvation at a great cost to Himself yet He did it! Jesus said, "it is done". He accomplished the greatest task set before Him.. for YOU and ME.. and EVERYONE ever created! Hallelujah 🙌🙌🙏

I was looking for some comedy to listen to as I would get ready for work and came across Michael Jr. I didnt know what to think at first because it was christian comedy, but i admit I couldn't stop laughing... Funny part was recently I was becoming distant from church because I didnt agree with some things.. But its funny how nomatter how I turned away from church God always found a way to get my attention and bring me back. Your comedy got me to go back to church again.. Just be sure he's in your house and has that relationship. Going to church is good, because of having other brothers and sisters in Christ encouraging you, but without a relationship with Jesus, church isn't the place to be.

I had never heard of this guy until someone suggested I listen. I was NOT disappointed. He's super funny! And, it's nice to hear comedy without all the profanity.

As an outsider I find the God/Gun mix in American culture weird, as do most Christians in my part of the world.. Unbiblical in fact. Sure, the scriptures mandate use of weapons as a last resort, but you seem to be celebrating them with your user name, & giving equal prominence to God & Guns seems almost blasphemous. YES I love too, the mix of Comedy and Preaching. He comes out as this "I'm just a regular kind of guy, like all the the dudes in the hood.." (with that kind of attitude to get people very comfortable with him) we EXPECT to laugh and we don't really think allot about what comes next, then the ALTERATION, and he begins to use scripture in a comedy way, then turns it around to alter the situation for people to expect a REVELATION, with the desire of SALVATION.. I really love watching this guy.. THANKS FOR SHARING.
Anne Marie I’ve watched him most of the afternoon watching his speaking engagements here on CZcams, a variety of videos. I remember him on the comedy shows for the best comics. He replays most of his material in each video but changes it up a bit. His message is even somewhat different each time. I even shared it with our new preacher. I like what you said Anne.

I fully agree, the problem is too many "Seeker friendly" churches put less emphasis on the Gospel and more on "How can we entertain people so they will like God as well. Conviction over sin is how the Holy Spirit draws people to Him, not comedy acts or music shows or stunts. Sure, it's okay to laugh, have humor, have joy in the Lord and that He took a wicked sinner and made them new...that's where the joy should come from. The comedy act....well that is fun too, but my comment was in response. "This is what the world needs, this approach makes GOD FUN"

I see your point. I've seen the Tonight Show services and feel distinctly uncomfortable. But those churches that are going to straighten all the sinners out are joy suckers. I think love is how He draws others. That is profound. Profoundly different. Profoundly Christ. He is a blending of his creation. Happy, sad, angry, joyful, a time to laugh cry... It doesn't have to be one or the other. Jesus said over and over , love love love is the only thing that changes things. That person that can confront with genuine love is so powerful you listen out of respect if nothing else. Then the gospel falls on fertile ground. I truly love these Christian comediennes and respect the way the use their God given talents to his glory encouraging others to come forward and commit their lives to a God who knows what joy really is.
But don't mistake, all love and no justice, power is dangerous. He is sovereign, we can trust our lives to him.

I just watched this 6 years after it was released and still feel it's power! For every person who walked down front there is a home changed, a marriage saved, chains of addiction broken, and new futures created....that's powerful! His message about keeping God in the nice room, the clean room, hit me hard! God used this man's message, 6 years after he delivered it, to give me a gut check...and I'm so glad He did!
