Full Wrap handguards for sure. After trying to be a "PRO rider" with open handguards... broke my little finger exactly on a track like this by hitting a small log...

Love to see some flowy stuff, lucky here to have flow at Limerick forest and lots of hard enduro in Calabogie. Mixing it up is fun!
I prefer the flag handguards, and they stick out past my bars 1/2". With full wrap arounds, they always trees solid and throw the bars for me. The flags deflect and bounce back. I mainly have them to keep my forearms from getting scratched, as my levers are unbreakable folding style.

It’s wild this is normal riding. I’m from southern Indiana and where I live it’s a lot of hills and knobs so you either have to hill climb to get to the spot or you are going downhill then back up lol. And rocks/ logs everywhere
We have similar trails in South jersery. The main difference is that there are all sand whoops, lol. Shit gets tricky when you smashing whoops and there's a trees as wide as your bars you gotta slip through 😂

I watched that video you talked about and ironically they didn't even show the hard trail. I live close by and ride there 6-7 times a season and the trail they described is called Packsaddle. Not a long trail but definitely very challenging. You'd love it Zach!

Start doing vlog type videos with a few funny friends and you’ll take off. I been watching you since I got my yz 5+ years ago and your an inspiration. It takes a special kinda love for bikes to understand your videos but it will open the audience if you do that.

Growing up i never had bark busters. My drz400sm has em and theyre nice to have. Pretty useless on a mostly street driven bike imo. But i feel like not having them is better for some reason.
