這集想花點時間跟大家聊聊，米格格來加拿大滿10個月，同時經歷了這邊私立幼稚園＆公立幼稚園，也分享一下我們在這兩者幼稚園選擇上的經驗，最後花點時間和大家分享我們上個月對補習班事件的一點看法，希望大家喜歡這集的內容。

Sports is a great way for kids to make friends and then tire them out so they sleep at night 😂 Seriously though, sports is a great entry point for them to get integrated with the locals and get used to Canadian culture 👍 Hockey, soccer, baseball, swimming, you name it.
You may want to consider speaking to them in Mandarin at home to help them keep their Mandarin listening skills. Most ABCs/CBCs I’ve encoutered will have flawless English by 1st or 2nd grade since everyone at school speaks English. Speaking different languages in different settings (home vs school) will help them become bilingual. It might take them a bit longer to learn both languages, but this (speaking different languages in different settings) works very well (you can check out articles on this method).
Thank you for your suggestion. Indeed, in Canada, children can meet more friends through sports. We haven't let her try extracurricular sports yet, but we will gradually arrange it. I agree with what you said. Language is a great life tool in work, life, and even making friends. It's not just for children; we all need to continue learning. Blessings to you.
After school, Play hockey girls goalie for life time friendship. Taiwan kids only study studying and studying. Studying can not make friendships.
Only hockey sport can bounds with local parents . 06:00am on the ice.
We haven't tried playing hockey yet, but we've watched others play and practice at the sports center, and it seems very interesting. Actually, education in Taiwan is diverse now. Focusing solely on academics can be too stressful for children. We hope for more diverse development opportunities. Thank you for your message, and best wishes to everyone.
