- We visited the Cleethorpes Arcades, which is a seaside town on the estuary of the Humber in North East Lincolnshire, England.
We played on the Arcades on the 2p coin machines, trying to win many different prizes.

We have so many sayings, I'm glad one of them caught on. Our Mum always used to say it to us when we were younger so now it's more of a running joke. Glad you're enjoying the content! :)

The prizes are pure tat though , my aim as a kid was to go out with more money than I went with . We would usually go in the 70s early 80s with nothing & look for money that had dropped on its own and try to get enough for some silver each , eg to make up to 5p 10 p or more.
Your not wrong, I use them as house point prizes for the children in my class and they love them though! Amazing that you managed to make a profit, sounds like a fun hobby!:)
