WEF/globalism/capitalism is what is in the heart of the west today, military, morally, culturally, so it's not wrong. It's indeed anti-western to root against Israel for instance. The west prove again and again that it can only generates more of the same colonialist/capitalist; in short - anti-human pattern, masked as "free choice" and "freedom". Not saying the USSR was not a hypocriticy, but at least it had the guts to end it's own existence when it didn't live up to it's own social standards and promises. Meaning, that in the end - they were more true to the democratic idea than the western hypocrites.

those were eastern cultures behind the iron wall. the big black bird represented the rebuild of germany by the US and Britain after the war... russia saw itself as the super power defending the east from that rebuild... they were selling fear... after all they tried to treaty once with Hitler's Germany and due to it they suffered millions of lost lives... after all the decendents of the people who put hitler in power were shown to be vengeful in the past ww1 for reference... So russia to promote their ideology to the masses of the east they had to visually show how the US and Britain were creating a new larger Threat that they might not be able to hold back... in the west we didnt understand this because we never wanted to invade russia... and we were making germany back then an anti war country much the same way Japan became... But in order for russia to motivate its people and justify the sacrifice of giving their lives and hard work to the state to make it strong enough to defend itself from an attack that was to never arrive... but it was all a lie to their people... since russia only wanted to take as much of europe as they could for world power.. and that is where Putin is today in his head... desperately trying to rebuild a weakened Russia to the Strength it had become after ww2... but those satelite states do not want to live under the oppression of Russias ideology anymore because having done so following the war only brought them hardship... plus since 1991 alot of those satelite states got to experience western capitalism and the wealth it brought to them... it hasnt been as great as it could... but it has been better than it was under russian rule. and that is why Ukraine fights so hard now... 30 yrs of freedom has strengthened them and given them reason to fight for true democracy and freedom... which russia despises because it takes money and power away from them and they fear those smaller countries working together because they were treated so poorly during the cold war and fear it will eventually cost them their country...

As so many people seem to be misunderstanding what the meaning of this animation is supposed to be here a clarification:
The bird is supposed to represent the german eagle, which you can recognize by its pointy feathers as well as the cracks on the egg at the beginning which form a Swastika. The fat man and the man in uniform represent the western capitalists and generals, who invested a lot of money into the german economy after WWII through the marshall plan and stationed missiles and other military equipment there, after inviting them into NATO.
This animation basically insinuates that the westerners were helping Germany regain power, thus potentially causing them to get out of control and create a new global conflict, which would be more destructive than ever before.
I personally don't think the people who made this wanted to emphasize the importance of world peace. They were rather accusing the west of financing fascists to support them against the USSR. Thus making the Sowjet political system seem supperior and sane when compared to the Western one.

Socialism - State takes 50%+ income tax then pays for things for you and gives you access. Hopefully it's trustworthy.
Communism - The state owns all businesses. Without a market economy, it inevitably fails to guess profitable prices and goes bankrupt.
"Capitalism" - State manages security and uses minimal necessary force to manage domestic businesses (ie regulations and trustbusting). People manage their own money and procure for themselves. This harnesses opportunity maximally since any given citizen has the freedom to fill economic gaps themselves and extra capital to help them do it. Naturally, such societies end up wealthier and more plentiful.

    • @Xanthas998
      @Xanthas998 Před měsícem +1

The fundamental philosophical divide here lies in whether or not you believe people are better at living their own lives and improving their local environment than a team of experts is at mandating the best way of life and improving any given home environment.
"Capitalism" (Laissez faire) says: empower the locals, they know their own situation best. "Communism" (A version of authoritarianism): The talent at the capital knows better than any local. And socialism is more on the authoritarian side of things.

Also you ascribe monolithic consciousness to capitalistic societies, when in reality it's a situation where every opportunity to make profit is free to be pursued. The key to the government intervention, ideally, being minimal necessary force and leaving maximal acceptable agency to future citizens to pursue helpful opportunities for both themselves and their community and even that same government itself.

In 1933 Germany was the poorest country in Europe and could not even feed its own population and you want to say that by 1939 they were already able to finance the largest war in history and the most expensive military projects that could be? Ahaha. Hitler spared the British troops in Dunkirk and let them leave, then asked the West for peace, but Churchill did not agree to peace without conditions, the conditions of peace were the invasion of Russia. Hitler failed to invade Russia and was written off. Anglosaxons did not release many high-ranking Nazis from prison until they died, because they were afraid that the world would find out the truth.

The bird represents nazism and fascism, and the point of the film is that the western warmongers and capitalists “fed” nazism until it got big enough to challenge them and then it got out of hand. The moral of the story is that fascism (and by extension, war and destruction) doesn’t come out of thin air, it is fostered and cultivated by the rich and powerful and the people’s willingness to accept the system that allows fascism to grow.

It is propaganda to act like the Nazis were funded by the evil West while the Soviets had nothing to do with supporting them. In 1922 the Soviets signed the Treaty of Rapallo with the Nazis, part of which allowed the Nazis to set up factories on Soviet territory to build up their mechanised forced, like tanks and artillery, beyond the limits that had been put on them during the Treaty of Versaille. In other words, the British and French were preventing the Germans from building up their army, but the Soviets gave them a back door to go around these restrictions. Unlike the Soviets, the US and the UK had no such deals which directly helped the Germans build up their military, although there were some loans made to them by financial institutions, these were relatively small in the grand scheme of things. The Dawes Plan involved giving loans to the Germans, but it was signed before the Nazis took power. Most financial aid quickly ended once Hitler rose to power. However, some Some private companies from the UK and US, like IBM, did get up to some unforgiveable stuff which helped the Nazis do terrible things, don't get me wrong. That's why it's nuanced. But on a governmental level, the Soviet government was much more direct in helpnig the Nazis build their war machine. Later, they signed a whole deal with Germany to divide and conquer Europe together, starting by taking different sides of Poland at the same time, triggering World War 2. Yes, you can say quite a bit about some bad decisions made by the capitalist countries, but the Soviets acting like they were not massively complicit is laughable.

      The USSR's bogeyman was Nazism.
The USA's bogeyman was the USSR.
It was easy to criticise the Nazis. They had lost the war, and everyone knew what they had done.
The USA's criticism of the USSR was based in projection. Expensive, pointless projects were funded with the sole justification of "the Russians might already have done it." Among the Operation Stargate (attempting to use clairvoyance for espionage) and Project MK Ultra (using torture to create unwitting sleeper agents). It had nothing to do with the actual shortcomings of the USSR, which were actually talked about by actual Communists and Anarchists (Trotsky, Orwell, Goldman, and others) until the House Committee on Un-American Activities made being a Communist or Communist sympathiser illegal in the USA.
