The Promoto is worth every penny. The most fun I have had with an RC in years. It's about time they come out with a decent dirtbike. Now I want to see a speed run Street bike from Losi. Like a Yamaha R1 or a Gixxer. Would be sick. You're the best Kev! Always entertaining!

I had a Jeremy McGrath one and it had a gyro in the back it was really bad ass
Yea back in the day they didn’t even have electric motors or batteries NEAR this strong let alone something so dialed. Pretty cool innovations goin on here
I also had the Jeremy McGrath from Tyco. Obviously it was toy grade RC, but it was fun when I figured out how to work it.
I used to love watching Jeremy McGrth ride motocross back in the day..
His style was insane! He could do the best MX whips I had ever seen back in the day👍👍
They're like helis, It's usually the builder/driver that's terrible not the rc bike 😂

I’ve had one for just over a month now. It’s such a blast. Amazing gyro technology. Wheelie mode is awesome.
I love my ProMoto! Read the instructions about the 3 modes. On-road, off-road and wheelie mode. Please research running higher S. If you just put in higher voltage batteries, you’ll fry the gyro. But there’s a few guys who put 3S or 4S batteries in there and stepped down the voltage for the gyro. It’s a blast! I’m making mine into Evel Knievel. 😂
All this guy does is destroy rc cars rebuild them and then do it again it's what his chanel is all about lol

Great vid, Kev. I was hoping youd like it. One note, the green bike is the only one that comes with the charger and MX race launch stand.
I have to admit. I'm surprised at how well that thing goes. Gyroscopic effect is always fun. It's used, or was, in some aviation instrumentation. I remember feeling that effect using 9" angle grinders.
Finally Kev!!! I've been wanting you to get one of these for months they are so cool. Here in Canada there are already clubs where they build mini super cross tracks. They're doing whoops and table tops,doubles and triples! I've been wanting you to get one so I can see it at the skate park etc. ITS NIIIICE!!!!

I bought one and less than a week latter I got another. The PROmoto deserves awards for best tech in an
R/C surface (land/water) vehicle for 2023.
Best mod that’s in the box is there is an extra spring in the box for the servo saver helps with the high speed wiggle it’s silver makes steering more responsive.
Also that dial for gyro is how far the bike likes to lean more is less lean lower is more lean
I love mine if you go to bigger battery somehow you will need to keep 2s on the gyro.
That would take some figuring out

Why would they drop the price when they instantly sell out every time they send a hand full out to hobby stores. That's not how business works
I would wait for the price to fall and maybe a third generation bike so all the bugs are worked out.

Put the gyro on a rc car to see what it will do .
See if it prevents it from wheelie at high speed for the speed run.
Or if it helps it in cornering on buggys.
Spektrum are cheeky doing the Apple route. Love the Losi MX though so cool!
The dial just adjusts the gyro strength. The thumb switch changes odes from 1beep dirt, 2 beeps street, 3 beeps wheely mode.
i think this is one of the best rc things created yet.

I was born in 1990 and I still have the first remote-controlled motorcycle put on the market, the Tyco RC Xtreme Cycle, blue bike, yellow rider. If I'm not mistaken we are talking about 2000

The most incredible bit of tech on that is the adjustable brake bias and of course the real brakes, that is insane, and I really want to see that tech on an on road RC car. For real cars, brake bias is everything for managing understeer and oversteer on corner entry, and pretty much all RC cars just have the ability to back drive the drivetrain which naturally, unless you have a center diff, brakes all the wheels equally, and if you have a center diff, it tends to just lock up the rear wheels and give the car tons of oversteer. There are of course things you can do to tune that, but doing away with back drive drivetrain braking and only utilizing real brakes to stop an RC car will be revolutionary, and I think losi could do it.
I knew if it was any good, it would have a gyro/flywheel. The intertia from regular wheels spinning doesn't scale down very well and you need to supplement it.

Jumps are really good when there is a landing ramp & not just takeoff ramp. Like a real dirt bike or stunt cycle. Evel Knievel would love this thing, he had his share of bad landings, but they would have all been bad with no landing ramp.
Got mine Friday the 13th Oct, ran 10 packs through it, dirt grass and tarmac, wheelie mode is awesome, need some more rear tyres now.

Nice to see how far they have come since tyco first did the Mcgrath bike. I was 10 and it was the only thing i wanted and asked for xmas that year and i got it. Next summer i went camping and the little boy in the camp next to ours took and ran it off the dock into the lake. I was extremely upset, and took my ruined rc to his parents, but when i got to their camp, i noticed right away the father wasnt going to be able to cover it. I mean, they were making hotdogs over a candle. He tried to write me a check but i wouldnt take it, it didnt feel right. I never did get another one. Maybe ill try one of these.

I had a SkyRc rc motorbike, 2 and 3s capable (it was freaking fast and stable), almost the same, half the cost! Over inflated prices piss me off. Sold it as I prefer planes and Helis

It's like a deja vu, cause I've had mine for about 4 months now.(sorry, we got them early in the states) Watched about 8 videos before I got Mine, so I was looking pretty good with the guys. Lol Love my Pro Moto! Haven't had a crawler, or drone, airplane out hardly at all. Got one for my buddy, and we got a flat track with a double jump on the back straight. Waiting for Saturday night races somewhere, as soon as enough people get em!

Gyro setup is 2s only. You'll need to wire a BEC to power the gyro above 3s.
The USB charger sux. Over 12 hrs to charge the included battery. I picked up a better Spectrum smart charger that only takes 35 minutes to fully charge from out of juice.

That’s what I’m thinking.. maybe just skip the usb cable and plug that charger into a bigger charger or power supply like a battery charger/car battery.

You should buy a small £20 rc car and then put a brushless motor in it and other expensive stuff and try and make go as quick as possible

Love mine, but you nailed it about the battery. Makes you need one of their special chargers
So I just run another battery identical to factory one but that one has the balance wires. Just had to Switch battery connector
