    Beautiful technique. It kind of reminds me of the way Japanese calligraphy masters move the body along with the brush. Awesome

      @AirbrushAsylum  Před 3 lety +1

      Thank you and appreciate the comparison to the Japanese masters, I don’t think I am any way near as skillful but I’ll take the compliment nonetheless 😉

    Hi Carsten, do you stand or sit while airbrushing this video?

    • @AirbrushAsylum
      @AirbrushAsylum  Před 7 měsíci

      Good question 🤔 I tend to airbrush both ways , I usually sit when doing really fine detail whereas for general airbrushing I will typically stand. From memory I was standing for this exercise . Hope that helps 👍🏻

  • @theclumsymaker781
    @theclumsymaker781 Před 3 lety +1

    I would think that being farther away from your canvas would increase the difficulty of the exercise. Or increasing your speed would do the same

    • @AirbrushAsylum
      @AirbrushAsylum  Před 3 lety

      Yes you could definitely add variations into this exercise the key is to stick with whatever speed and distance (type of stroke) you start with keep it consistent throughout 👍🏻

    I use a battery powered 50€ gun but I have very often a stucked nozzle. First air and second paint is clear to me but why does it dry so quickly in the gun?

    I am a subscriber to your channel and I find your tutorials very informative I do however have one small problem, you use the word height a lot but I'm sure you mean distance or is this just an Aussie thing?

    • @AirbrushAsylum
      @AirbrushAsylum  Před 3 lety +1

      Thank you for your comment and appreciate you subscribing, yes height is the distance from your object / surface hope that helps to better understand my Aussie accent 😂👍🏻
