REGARDING #8: Conversation need not be deep and with close friends in order to be authentic and sincere … and enjoyable. For example, I am sitting here at Starbucks, where I ordered a Bloody Mary with a straight face. Disarming comments like that (often with ME playing the Fool) improve my access too strangers and our (thankfully) brief interactions. I get them to smile and even give me better service, or at least clearer attention. 😎
If you can't smile at least once a day, and elicit a smile from someone else at least once a day - you're probably in the wrong line of work. ;)
@@TheArimatheus I can smile 100s of times per day, and elicit 1000s, but that is no measure of others' quality.
@@LeadingIndicator I didn't mean it in that way - anything against others. It's just the standard I hold myself to. I as a manager need to be able to laugh, usually most importantly at myself, and then find a way to bring laughter or at the very least a smile out of one (or hopefully more) of my team members.
If I can't do both, at least once a day - then I feel like a failure as a leader. 😑

Seems sigmas will bump heads with alphas as friends. I have friends who take criticism, as an attack on their reputation. They assume they have it all figured out and no one will say anything to them.
@wavy_bump They don't like been held accountable for any mistakes they try to cover up with bullshit and manipulation. I made it a hobby calling those folks to account, they look very uncomfortable when they release you just read them like an open book aloud to the very people they rely on for validation.
