Hi
ded inded
There's a reason I don't use water cooling.
I don't trust myself enough to take care of my PC let alone build it properly.
Don't worry, my PSU might not be mounted in my 10 dollar case but it works just the same.
same- there is no real reason for water cooling as long as you don't intend to overclock your CPU or GPU.
@@olik136 depending on the size of the heat sink you get, you don't even need to user water cooling, even with a bit of dynamic overclock like 15%
to be fair, his coolant was conductive, if you get an non-conductive coolant, that won't happen even if it leaks
@@monad_tcp the don't stay non conductive for long.
â@@monad_tcp They don't stay non conductive for very long, they're about as effective as Distilled water. I had a fitting leak after a pretty sizable earthquake hit while I was away from home. My "non-conductive" 5 month old fluid still screwed up almost everything it touched.
My rule of thumb has always been, if you need it to be low maintenance, durable and reliable. Don't use water/liquid cooling.

I love his scripting! There is always some stuff that just gets me. Wonder how much time he puts in this. If he comes up with these just like this or if he actually spends hundreds of hours coming up with these...
"I bought them to mine crypto whenever the apartment in new york got cold." holy shit i'm dead.
Fun fact, because of thermodynamics, a GPU giving off heat by mining is exactly as efficient as running a space-heater for the same temperature. Weird, right?
@@darksunrise957 The difference is that, given enough time, a GPU mining crypto eventually pays for itself.

For non-NYCers: NYC apartments never get cold; even in the dead of winter you will be swelteringly hot unless you open all the windows. This is actually legally mandated. New York City wanted to stop the spread of Spanish Flu and their idea was to force people to keep the windows open for ventilation.

The day has finally come. Just as we were wondering if Micro Center is deaf and hadn't heard the call.
I can really recommend getting a temperature sensor to have inline with the watercooling loop, i have set my fan speeds dependent on water temperature. Great way to make sure your new tubes don't deform ;)
Every time I see Micro center featured on a tech or 3d channel my heart aches as no such heaven exists in my country.
So I found your channel earlier today and have now binged nearly every video. In one day I have gone from someone with no mechanical knowledge and thought that 3d printing peaked at D&D minis, to someone who wants to control a drone feeding live video to my glasses(I wanna say monocle but i think you need more room for hardware) and controlling it with a glove. Thanks man. I may never have free time again. xD
my ADHD ass will forget he exists for a while and then when reminded I'll watch all of his videos that I've missed and be disappointed when I run out đlike a favorite show fr

Congratulations on the sponsorship! I love the humor. Awesome build.
as someone who failed college, built his own rig with liquid cooling. damn this is heartfelt. I love the literal wallpaper on the screens lmao. I also worked at microcenter, shit sucks to work for because you get paid .06% off of stupid shit like cables and .01% off of anything above 100$

"Dry as ben shapiro's wife" holy shit I burst out laughing
Is ridiculing people's wives really where we are now?
@@theprogram863 I think it's more a shot at Ben Shapiro with his cringe commentary. No one actually thinks anything's wrong with the wife.
I like watching this guy but the sly jokes thrown at republicans and conservatives are annoying. Politics are just annoying in general
@@Zwettekop My point stands. If someone started saying shit about Zack's wife to hurt him because he said something they think is cringe, would that be ok? If you think some type of nasty attack is wrong, except when it's someone you hate because politics*, then you're saying the attack itself isn't wrong, just the target.
Plus, salty is right, why are we even arguing about politicians on a maker channel in the first place? Does the world really need more hate right now?

one of the most intresting builds ive seen in years , great channel i like yer style . and some interesting tips like those gpu brackets never seen any pc builder mention them before
Yeah, I don't know why either! These cards were sagging really bad before, and if this $7 bracket can save a $300 motherboard AND make my build look neater, it seems like pure upside
Loving the bender reference!
I've been researching my first 3d printer and wow stumbled across this chan which is like a hundred lifetimes of 3d print knowledge all in one. Thanks for all the effort you put in. 3d printers aside, i've been watercooling PCs for yonkages, it is the way. Recently started flurting with Halea aquarium chillers - picked up the bottom range HC150 wow so much better than radiators my rig is like 20c water temp in a 20c ambient room with GPU and CPU sitting at 50 full load. It's a bit noisy so planning on eventually drilling holes in the wall and plumbing it into the next room for a totally silent supercooled PC.
I like that you showed you going to micro center cuz that's the way I go too and it's cool
As a person that spends 5 days a week at a Microcenter its awesome to see they sponsored your channel! It feels like a perfect match!
Damn, ngl this video was on point! You weren't lying yesterday.
I love your witty comments man
I really like the focus on finishing projects, that is something that has prevented me from starting a lot of ideas (that and these so called jobs) and most creators don't talk about the struggle to finish something when your role model (my dad) got old and stopped finishing projects of their own
I will never build one of these, but I had a blast watching. Thanks!
Hell yeah, the Lian Li PC-O11 D is such a sweet case. Love mine too

I have been watercooling for years now. Many different iterations and builds. Have used PETG, and Acrylic, but now I am a ZMT man. I usually swap parts every 6 months or so, and breaking down a fully acrylic build takes quite awhile. I eventually got fed up with it and now I'm using ZMT tubing w/ quick disconnects. I can break down my build and change a part in a fraction of the time.
