Dr. Benhima will demonstrate how to extract selected variables from a dataset in SPSS and create a new dataset based on variables or just values. You'll learn how to use the 'SELECT CASES' (If condition is satisfied and copy selected cases to a new dataset) command to specify the criteria for selecting cases and how to save the new dataset using the 'Save As' function. If you don’t want to create a new dataset, you can filter out cases or delete other irrelevant cases and keep the same sav file.
