I actually saw a Maverick today!
For a while, I was the only Maverick in my area, felt special when someone was excited to see the Maverick haha. Although I am just starting to see more and more.

What’s interesting is I’ve had the audio cutting in and out since I got the truck in May 22. Doing an update right now actually (1/14/23) hoping to get rid of the bugs. 😁
Yeah, I've heard that actually from a # of people. That IS a bummer. Hoping the update fixes that for you. Luckily, on the 2 different Mavericks I have owned it wasn't a big problem. But please let us know if an update helps!
My truck does the same, not too often - but from time to time. Picked up my Mav on 05/04/22
@@maverickresource The updates I’ve done have seemed to help. Really the only bug left is from time to time the truck doesn’t recognize my phone is plugged in. No big deal, just unplug and plug again and it usually pops up CarPlay. Minor stuff, all good.
I haven't updated my truck since I picked it up last November. I did get one frozen screen and quickly learned how to reset the display. And as it relates to music cutting out? Yeah... I get that but also with FM music as well. Strange. It all goes through the same digital processor I imagine.
I haven't had any read camera glitches. Tell me more? What I do get is water droplets on there too often. That's annoying.
My biggest concern is not about that as much as the other "smart" systems installed. The dealer tried to sell me a hotspot service. I turned it down. What they didn't tell me is that the mobile connection was NOT optional... just the hotspot sharing service. This came to light when they had me install the fordpass app and link it up to my new truck. I do not want a wireless intrusion device on my truck. Its my truck. I paid CASH for it. It belongs to no one else.
So how to I locate and remove the SIM from this mobile wireless intrusion device? What may happen if I remove it? Will the truck refuse to run? Does anyone know?
Haha good question. I have no idea where the ford pass spy chip maybe. That indeed, tripped me out as well. That no matter what, my truck it tracked.
I use waze exclusively as a Nav aide and the voice prompts are cutoff randomly...don't know if Google maps does the same
