Ennio Morricone was a brilliant man. His music is priceless, timeless, and boundless.
He made just a nice little song for a movie, very good on that, no doubt, but it was the singers who turn the song in the best western music ever, maybe above western movie, beyond westerns limits

How many performers are there on this Orchestra including the vocalist Lady on red and yet everyone synchronized with the flow of music. If all the people here on earth synchronize with each other then there will be peace to all humanity. Imagine the impact and impression on me as a 8 yr old boy in the 60 "s hearing this broadcast over the television.....your parents mesmerized by the sound and cinema photography of the era !!! Astounding indeed ..not to mention you the good the bad and the ugly again for the 100 th time over 50 years ! Saw it half drunk , stoned and straight ! I'm now 60 and retired military.

I saw the original movie in 1968 in a big real movie theater in nyc. The soundtrack to The Good The Bad and The Ugly sounds incredible in a big theater with a good sound system.

When I was aged 16 years I used see this film many times in the Theater in Madras . Now my age is 72. Still I enjoy this MUSIC .
Had a funeral last week. This song made me down on my knees. Unforgettable. Absolutely devastating pure perfection. Hopefully will be played on my funeral soon. The best western part ever

I can't hold back my tears when I hear his wonderful music and see him conducting an orchestra playing the notes that he wrote, that he composed .... and to think that he is no longer there. But his music, the emotions he gave us, will live forever in our mind, in our hearts. Not only do we Italians lose a great artist, our dear compatriot, but the whole world loses a genius of the music.
