Kerbal Space Program 2019 KSP How to rendezvous rendezvousing in orbit
orbital rendezvous around kerbin rendezvous tutorial kerbal space program KSP rendezvous tutorial. how to complete rendezvous mission?
Wow, this whole time I never knew you could move maneuver nodes around the orbit without having to redo them. No wonder rendezvous were so hard for me lol
Thank you very much Fred. You truly lived up to the title. No muss no fuss just a perfectly informative video. Comprehensive and detailed.
Thank you man, definitely a no bullshit guide. I like how you told your audience the things they needed to have and act upon to be able to make the rendezvous & docking maneuvers. And all the other small details that the big channels missed out on.
I mastered rendezvous and docking through your video, so this video is a life saver.
U should be proud of yourself.
❤🚀🧑🚀❤
Thnx a whole lot all the tutorials I found so far compared to this one usually overcomplicate what theyre trying to explain or be too vauge about what theyre telling you
Thank you very much. That's the idea
This was super helpful. Thanks much. This along with Mike Aben's tutorial helped me salvage what should have been a simple Mun science mission gone horribly awry. I realized my return vehicle didn't have enough DV to get home, and instead of reverting to a previous save, I hit F5 accidently, quicksaving over the previous save state from before I took off. Had to commit to trying to limp the ship back to Kerbin, but ended up with a 3.5 million kilometer orbit with three Kerbals stranded.
I sent my rescue ship to pick up our little freinds, and got them back safely. Had so much fun doing it, I sent another ship up with a grabbing unit and an extra pilot, and towed the stranded ship back to LKO where it had just enough DV left to deorbit and land Recovered over 600 science points I would have otherwise given up as icing on the cake.
Easy to understand tutorial. Thank you now i don't need to worry about crashing, overshooting my target anymore
i went from eyeballing my missions to the mun to being able to dock 2 spacecraft in 5 minutes
i love this video.
God bless you dude. have had KSP for like 5 or 6 years I think and still didn't know the basics of survival for the game. the biggest being rendezvous. Your tutorial lays it out plain and simple. Didn't use any complicated terms or words. I appreciate that so much. I wonder what other content you have hmmm.🤔🤔
Great video, now I can dock vessels with no problem.
Thanks man :)
Excellent tutorial, thank you!
Doing my first science mode playthrough and I haven't unlocked MechJeb yet, so this is a lifesaver.
Best rendezvous tutorial i have ever seen. I subscibed. Thank you
No bs guides are the best guides
DUDE. I wish I had seen this years ago. would have made my life so much easier.
The video really lives up to the name, very clear on what to do as opposed to the ingame tutorials
Thanks so much for making this, this worked great!
thank you, very simple and easy to follow tutorial!
I cannot express how much I like this. 👍
quick and simple, this helped me so much
The best guide out there, thanks
really helped me here! thank you :)
No matter how hard I try I can't get my brain wrapped around this shit man
Jeb's been flying around Kerblin for 26 days now, I just want to get him back home
Thank you i didnt bother learning this bc mechjeb 2 but since there is no mod in ksp 2 for now this will help greatly
Nice short tutorial. No bs. Subscribed.
Thank you so much! This really helped me! ❤
Great vid. Many thanks!
Perfect for a beginner who doesn't want or need to watch a 20 min vid on this.
Thanks Fred. This was great.
Underrated vid. Thanks man
you just saved a kerbal thanks man
Bro thank you so much your the best
Rendezvouz is a challenge.. and this is realy help me
No bullshit. I love it.
This video is a life saver
thanks for your tips
This is the first actual no bulshit guid i have ever seen
thank you so much fred. have a nice day.
Much easier than what I was doing
great guide
Great tutorial! I'm just curious as to how you got all those red circles next to the navball? I only have three of them :/
@@Floramaxy or by using more expensive probes
What is the mod he uses for the orbital navigation? It shows Pe and Af, also helps with changing orbits
Very nice tutorial. Is the orbit consistent all of the way around the planet then after the rendezvous? Or will the vessels drift apart by the time that you get to the other side of the planet if you fail to dock quickly? Thanks!
Extremely late answer, but no their orbits are most likely not 100% the same and therefore will drift apart, That is why docking is imminent. You can search up "Matt Lownes Lazy Way of Docking" For the easiest docking tutorial, the reason i didn't include it in the tutorial is because its his original idea and id rather have him get the views than ripping them off him.
@@fredskerbaladventures4091 Ha! Ok, thanks! I've pretty much got it down now. Like Lowne says, you really just need to keep practicing until you have it down. Thanks for the reply though, happy holidays, and enjoy that new 4.11 update!
Could you also in theory have a higher orbit and then lower your orbit to the target?
thanks man
How do I do this with early game things?
,,Simple,,
Too much skipping. Like how to you line up the orbits
How to rendovous: -go in the opposite direction-
Edit: actually a pretty bad idea, you'll waste all of your delta v just trying to slow down
The KSP in-game tutorial is so awful it's actually shocking.
“You need to make sure you have enough RCS thrusters” ... yeah, riiiiight pal, “enough” RCS thrusters, then you go place like 20+ on one stage ! thank fuck you don’t work for NASA ! I hope no one takes this shit seriously !
... its kerbal space program, i don't want to wait ages for a craft to turn. So if i can i make it faster, why not?
I'm torn because I kind of agree with both people in this comment thread
It’s a game dude and one of the biggest sayings in kerbal space program is “moar boosters”
@@NathanielMTB it's a game ? whoa, it must be spot the obvious day, my bad ... though in all honesty dude, he's titled this a "no bullshit guide" thus, it's a guide for people and quite frankly having that many RCS thrusters is ridiculous and not the best start to any "guide" let alone a "no bullshit guide" lol, now as for "moar boosters" well, yes, one needs boosters, be they solid or liquid burning and depending on the payload and we often find ourselves needing "moar" and this was especially so prior to them releasing *more "solid rocket boosters" in which the update was accompanied by the tag line "moar boosters" and yeah, sometimes we need "moar" boosters to get the job done, but we most definitely don't require 25+ RCS thrusters, again, it's ridiculous, not to mention, with the silly number of RCS thrusters comes the need for a silly amount of "mono propellant" tanks, to which negates any boosters efficiency due to the added weight, thus, this guide seems to be a little more bullshit than sensible and had the title not been worded "a no bullshit guide" I most definitely wouldn't have questioned the over use of RCS thrusters.
@@rustyneedles3743 who shit in your cereal?
32 fucking RCS thrusters ! FUCK ! quit with the tutorials pal ! they’re called reaction wheels, use them !
