  • Hydra Glide at 4 min mark. Check it out!
So, I bought my Harley Heritage 2022 last year, brand new and I love it! I have made it mine with all of the Willi G Skull accessories. Then, of course, Harley came out with this brand new Hydra Glide Revival, limited edition. Fell in love with it so fast, I swear I tried to not go look at it! Then I had to sit on it...yes, it's beautiful! I am such a fringe and bling kind of person. I don't want to sell my Heritage and I am just figuring out if I seriously need this bike. Oh, I know I don't but I really neeeedddd it! Haha. So, is it worth having a 2nd motorcycle and all the cost involved with that? Help me decide.

Wow Crystal what a beautiful bike. Since I’m almost 70 years young I’m quite a bit older than you so my point of view might be considerably different than yours but from my perspective it’s not about whether you NEED this bike it’s more about do you WANT this bike and I would say if you WANT this bike and can afford it then go for it. Life is too short to only consider NEED.

The only addition I would make is the wide white wall tires to compliment the gas tank!

Oh, don't I know! I have been looking and then went in for an oil service on my Heritage and rode out on a 2024 Road Glide.

What a great video Crystal. These bikes are part of the Harley-Davidson ICON collection and were produced in limited numbers making them a truly collectible motorcycle. Hope to see you out riding or at a local fishin' hole down the road.

2nd bike I have from Gateway Harley … nice people and easy to work with. Definitely the place to buy from!! Thanks for making it so easy… now to get that lowering kit put on … and taller boots! I can’t wait to ride it!

Yes, it's a great looking bike. Personally, I'm a fan of the 1940s-1960s FLs, so I am a bit biased (I'm on my second Heritage currently). If I were looking to get a second bike, this might be one I'd consider. But, for me, I'd have to do about another $10-20K in additional work to get it closer to the look of a '56 FL. Swap the 10" mini-apes out for bars that are closer to the '56 look, a two-into-one exhaust, swap the taillights for the '56 "tombstone" taillight, a front fender light, the saddlebag crash bars, probably a luggage rack on the back (no back rest/sissy bar, though) to mount a travel bag for long trips, probably whitewall tires. But that's just me.
Essentially, you'd be getting a second Heritage (which is what the HydroGlide Revival is built on), but one with a lot of custom bits out the door. It's not going to be a "daily driver", so you have to factor in when and where you'd ride it. And, as you mentioned, there's financial side. Because it's a custom limited edition model, the insurance is going to significantly higher than your current Heritage.
At the end of the day, it's down to (a) how much you want it as a second bike, and (b) can you afford it as a second bike.
Or, as Adam Sandoval says, "Life is short. Buy the damn motorcycle!"

Y E S , it is worth the cost , especially if you can afford it , you only have to ask yourself one question , and answer it honestly . Does it make you happy ? I wanted a 120th Anniversary so bad when they first came out , then the Hydra Revival popped along , I am totally in love with these , but just a bit much for me at the time , but I found a great deal an a un molested 1 owner 120th , and grabbed it up . I am happy , I walk out to my 3 Heritage bikes , and my Sporty of 28 years now , and counting . I love this motorcycle life I have , and I love doing my own thing with them , so cheers from a fan of being yourself . I will hit the SUB for ya .

hell, this Heritage sits even lower than the base Heritage, and I think it has the lowest seat height for all Harleys right now, including the Lowrider lol
