Good to see some non-leather wallets getting reviewed. Leather wallets are cool, but I'm sure there are quite a few of us that have no desire to own one. Keep up the good work. Always looking forward to your videos.
Great design on the UP V2. One of the most frustrating things on my bellroy cardholder is that you can't get cards in on the pull strap side without impacting the use of the pull strap.
@@MuiKaHo cash and receipts occassionally. It's a great wallet and the pullstrap makes archives easy to get to. I'd likely still use it for cash but the option for a card would be nice.
@@danielvargo4498 I am aware, and it's a great wallet, but it would be nice of the design had allowed for the choice to put cards. That might have meant other sacrifices in useability, so I'm sure they had a reason to limit the design to cash.
Within its own category, yes. We can't compare it to leather as that would indicate leather is better than everything, including metal. For Alpaka, I've worked with many of their products and their quality, with the material they use, is excellent.
@@walletopia aha that make sense, that why you did not look for double stitches and all that. Yeah, different materials have different failing points & characteristics. 👌
Just purchased the Up Cardholder V2. Almost useless. Not functional at all except if you only want to put 2 cards inside and a single card on each exterior side, that you don’t need to get out easily. Not sure how you could get 6 cards in it and get them out again. The ARK would be better and easier to access.
I really like the Arc wallet Mark with its simple design yet being able to accommodate cash and cards etc. (The material reminds me of the Pioneer equivalents?) Can you get these Alpakas in the UK pal?
Based on reviewed across the board for Alpaka products, I would say very well. The same material they use on their wallets they use on all their higher use products like slings, backpacks, etc., which see more abuse.

Thanks for watching!

The pattern not matching up just messes with me
5 out of 5 quality, I did not see this coming. 😀

The UP V2 wallet is nice, I like that it has full card protection compared to something like my Nomatic wallet. Considering a purchase..
hi there, for the ARK wallet, is there chances of the money falling off if you were to hold it upside down or whatnot?

Looks like you can with the usual VAT thievery that goes on, alpakagear.com/pages/shipping
It doesn't surprise me one bit tbh Mark. Anyway Thanks alot for the reply back and the heads up pal!
The UP is £12 on alpka uk just now if you are still looking
Thanks alot !
How about a review on the speakeasy wat wallet or the dalton
Its gotta be hard to find those short movie or show intros
I have alpaka edc pouch it's pretty good I thinks these wallets would be good at that price
They can certainly take a lot of abuse.
But how did its ability to be thrown like a ninja star affect its score?
It didn't stick so it failed 😂
I wonder how the material would last over time. I really like the ARK wallet.

Sorry I just don’t dig synthetic material wallets!
