PC is missing a bunch of effects like volumetric lighting, some visual effects, like for rain or foam on the waves washing ashore, vegetation, car reflections from console, clothing, etc. The gamma is different from the PC version too.

@Runar Vollan because every game they make gets bigger and more complex. They add more lines of dialogue that need to be recorded and they have multiple characters for so many different scenarios. They have to build entire open worlds. Bug testing, mission design, level design, concept art, music licensing, sound mixing. Doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of what they need to do in order to make the final game. It's a monumental task to the point of insanity. How is it surprising they haven't released a new game in a few years? It's not.

This makes me excited about how GTA 6 will look and sound like. Whereas GTA V is built upon multiple characters in multiple POVs, GTA IV is built on innovation and change from 3D to HD.

You can also do the taxi driver glitch and have a random NPC drive for you if you're at a gas station and lucky enough to see a random ped driving the Taxi. They obviously don't have any dialogue though. On a side note, water puddles in the game are interactive with the environment and car tires can make them splash.
Fun fact: 3:20, if you enter the train with stars as low as 1 or 2, officers may request that the dispatcher alerts "Transit PD", in order to intercept the player while on the train. While no such agency appears in the game, signs at the Alderney City Ferry Terminal mention the "L.C.T.P.D.", Presumably based of the New York City Transit Police.
By the end you've screwed up a bunch of timings and captions For example 49:39 on the timeluine says '3 possible outcomes...', I think it's supposed to be 'overheating brakes' And the on-screen caption says 'no fall damage...' which is completely irrelevant? Otherwise a very solid video, I admire the amount of work put into it

But for me , for myself, it's a really underrated game , I believe they don't praise enough the story , how the characters from dlcs and the main game connect to each other , the detailed world , the physics and so many other things that wr discovered later ( or maybe we didn't notice at all ) For me , it's a game like red dead redemption 1 and 2 . Both are really detailed games with a great storyline, yet most people only know about gta v and gta San Andrea's. That's why I believe its an underrated game
The fact that the girl in Perestroika knows Niko by name is because she uses Alex Chilton's voice and character model. Very odd choice by R* IMO but kinda funny since she's definitely not the sort of woman that would work at a russian cabaret club 😅
No sure if it has been found before - the security vans in GTA 4 holds lots of Cash just like GTA 5 , i was messing around to get wanted level and nearest car i found was a security car. I blew it up with grenade and i was surprised to see so many green cash markers littered on road. They vans spawn rarely though and only place I found them regularly was Southern Part of Alderney near the industrial area.
The feature of GTA 5 that annoyed me the most was how they changed the 1 and 2 star wanted levels. In GTA 4 if you commit some sort of a crime that isn't murdering a cop, you'll end up with 1 star; and it doesn't seem to increase unless you start hurting people. In GTA 5, if you aggro a cop and get a 1 star wanted level from anything, you have about 10 seconds before it automatically increases to 2 stars and the cops start shooting at you. This is beyond irritating, one of the most fun things to do in GTA 4 is play with the cops when you have a 1 star wanted level- you can't do it at all in GTA 5 because it's no time at all before the cops start shooting at you, even if all you did was bump into a police vehicle with your car.
They're indeed more aggressive, they just start shooting for no reason. They also shoot unarmed NPCs because police never arrest NPCs during normal gameplay. Then you also have idiots saying nonsense such as "GTA V cops are more realistic" or "Very accurate representation of LAPD" I don't live in LA or anywhere in North America, but I'm sure that LAPD don't shoot people for no reason. Imagine if cops just simply shoot you for accidentally running a red light? GTA V cops are very annoying, they're like terminators based on their 100% aiming accuracy. I hope GTA VI cops will arrest NPCs instead or simply shooting them. GTA IV's cops are better, as you said it doesn't seem to increase unless you start hurting people. I hope GTA VI cops are similar to GTA IV. Another thing Rockstar could do for GTA VI; that cops would start shooting at 3 stars instead 2 stars, but I don't think this would happen.
@@whatever57010 The writing was better all around in IV. The talk radio stations are the best example- talk radio is entirely forgettable in V but it's fucking hilarious in IV. Integrity 2.0 and WKTT were the only stations I'd ever listen to in IV. I did appreciate what they did with Lazlo in V however, it was a great continuation of his character from his radio show in GTA IV 😂
What I didn't like about GTA IV cops is they knew EXACTLY where you were, even if they didn't see you hide. Attempted to hide under a pier knowing they didn't see me, but knew exactly where I was. Mind reading cops lol.

Yes GTA IV cops aren't perfect, but good enough for a 2008 game. GTA VI should bring back GTA IV-style cops, but still improving them. In GTA V cops never arrest NPC (except in some missions), they just shoot them.
It's funny. because, the pay 'n spray is a safe room. It makes you immune to the police. I like how you hear the sirens and see them running after you.
If you kill the engine of a car because you crashed it too much you can sometimes fix the engine one more time by pushing the broken car with another car, after getting back in the broken car it will sometimes magically start up again! A crash after the last fix will result in the car going up in flames

Whenever stealing one of the cars in there, the wanted level will be reduced by two stars down to three stars. Also, if you don't already have a wanted level it will give you one star as soon as you enter the car every time.
Straight tragedy that this game isn't being remastered, or at the very least have backwards compatibility for the PS4 and PS5. Come on Rockstar, what's your problem? So busy selling shark cards that they completely miss the mark, they have no idea how much money they would make reselling this masterpiece.
I played GTA San Andreas yesterday. I found out if you stand on the top of a house or roof a news helicopter flys next to you(That game is almost 20 years old. Think about it)

Whenever stealing one of the cars in there, the wanted level will be reduced by two stars down to three stars. Also, if you don't already have a wanted level it will give you one star as soon as you enter the car every time.

Straight tragedy that this game isn't being remastered, or at the very least have backwards compatibility for the PS4 and PS5. Come on Rockstar, what's your problem? So busy selling shark cards that they completely miss the mark, they have no idea how much money they would make reselling this masterpiece.
