When your eyes are opened and you are deep into spirituality, especially from Hindu grounds, you will realize he is on point. He has just giving surface teachings because deeper ones can't be easily comprehended. I see a lot of christians being judgemental through their own ignorance. You are a woman, don't you see clots when you menstruate or have menstruated? Menstrual blood has so many components.
Almost half of menstrual fluid is blood. This blood contains electrolytes like sodium, phosphate, calcium (assist in blood clotting) , iron etc, the extent depends on the woman. As well as blood, the fluid consists of cervical mucus, vaginal secretions, occasional clots, dead bacteria and endometrial tissues.
During menstruation, the tissues that line the womb (endometrium) break away and start leaving the body. This is done by the womb or uterus contracting through a hormone called prostaglandins to push the impurities away from the womb through the vagina. There is no vacuum effect.
Hence some people have too much of these hormones develop period cramps.
As this happens, the body releases some proteins that cause the blood in the womb to clot. This prevents the body to lose too much blood. So there are clots in the menstrual blood.
If this does not happen, you would bleed until your iron levels become low causing iron deficiency. That is why those who have heavy periods usually develop iron deficiency.
Also, those men who may think when they have bleeding from the back side (number 2) it is a man's period, you may be making a great mistake. Could be bowel cancer or any inflammatory bowel disease and like Maame Grace rightly said, kookoo (haemorrhoids). These are are all simple things but detailed explanation may confuse people.
