I hope you'll be doing all the Legends Rookie ovals :P Just hopped back into iRacing after a LOT of MX5 on Assetto Corsa the past year. Did a Legends race this morning and loved it, then started looking for tips on where my missing second of lap time was. Between this and your paint videos (I loved making liveries for AC), I'm hooked!

I did a run through MoTec and I found that (surprisingly) I was get more wear from the second turn than the first turn. I have to really make it a point to straighten my wheel coming out of the turn. Another big point of wear is overdriving the first and third turn (more RF wear), or pushing too hard off the third turn (more RF/RR wear). I would suggest trying to have 90% of your breaking done before actually cutting the wheel hard into 3. If it is a tough lobby, I tend to hang back in 2nd/3rd place for a majority of the race, keep the leader within 2 seconds, and really push it for the last 12 laps. I think I will start making videos using MoTec in the future to show how turns affect tire wear. Thanks for watching! Good luck!
