I think everyone kinda misunderstood the expert badges. Each badge helps you in SOME way, even though the cons may outweigh the pros.

I feel most of your boost badges make it TOO easy. Like the ones we know so far are just small things, not huge things like pausing
Maybe I should have specified: the pause would only last a few seconds before it would turn off, around five to ten seconds. I feel like that's fair as it gives the player a decent amount of time to avoid an obstacle or better time a jump. As for the other Boost Badges, I feel like they're fair additions, especially for newbies. Veteran players like you and I wouldn't get a kick out of the Boost Badges, as our interests would lie in the Action and Expert Badges. By the way, thanks for watching!

These are all some pretty good ideas (and Nintendo even made a version of the Double Jump Badge), but my only complaint is with the Gravity Flip badge (it would probably work better if you just flipped back after falling off the top of the screen)

What if we could do an expert badge (strength badge) like the big mushroom in Super Mario maker 2 where we can’t grab anything from blocks but any enemy can be 1 hit, or if it’s like a big spike ball, both you and it would get hit. Anything running into you would turn around. Be careful with note blocks they can get automatically destroyed.
I'm so hyped for the advanced badges, I cannot wait to do full runs speedrunning, going invisible and whatever the others are!

1:40 There's just one issue with this, though. It would literally just be a better walljump climb (Whatever it was called) as that is essentially a double jump that is limited to situations where you could wall jump. Having a straight up doube jump, would make that badge kinda pointless in a sense. But maybe they could find a way to make it work.

Fun fact:the last original expert badge is useless because it’s only sound
im gonna be honest, some good ideas, the double jump will probably happen, but a fair amount are just ones to make u speed up. i dont think they are very likely as we literally have a speedrunning badge. but no hate on the video, it was very good!!

But the this badge and the Jet Run Badge are vastly different, as this doesn't really hinder your gameplay, rather it gives you a brief period of invincibility while increasing your speed.

That's the whole point of a prediction! Sometimes, you're dead wrong, but then on the rare occasion, you're spot on.
4:30 this is an action badge, not a boost one
same with cursor badge and checkpoint badge
It's really up to interpretation. I don't think they are though as all three of those badges are radically different than any of the Action Badges that provide Mario with a physical ability like a Dolphin Kick or Spin Jump.
@@BlabbaYT yes, but after 100%’ing the game I can safely say action badges are manual badges that you have to use yourself, and boost badges are passive badges that happen on their own
