The first part is yoongi's/suga's/ bts' monologue on who he/ they wanted to be when they first debut and also how felt sometimes now at the top which kinda sad ... like he is suffocating .... and the beat change it represent all of his shadows (back to map of soul theory bout what shadow represent) ... it feels like the shadows is hunting him and suffocates him relentlessly.... uwhich reminds me when v said during vlive how scary sasaeng is .... and also the fact that how lonely it can be not be able to hv a normal life ... its not like they regret where they are right now but because they just a normal human and they sometimes they longing for the normal life ... for me the song is genius as it is ...they are a good storyteller.... this is like their conversation with their shadows
