The suite style is big and the furniture looks nice. A room to yourself would be awesome. Dorms are loud no matter where you live because it is the nature of sharing walls.

I love how all your room mates have different styles. I kinda expected you all to have super pink and girly rooms but there was a mix. :)
7th floor has larger layout bc the building is wider on the top. supposedly has higher ceilings
I feel all of these pros and cons! I lived in pres 1 5 years ago! I was in the A room! I personally feel the fire alarms. When you have an alarm go off at 4 am and you have an 8 am...🙃 very annoying!

do you know how easy it is to get a single room? i want to live in england hall but by myself, and i don't know how competitive it is or how many single rooms there are
I’m not sure exactly how you get a single room, I would contact the housing department and ask!

Hey so when you said that there were only 3 rooms left in pres by the time you got to pick .. do you mean just in pres 1 or between pres 1 and pres 2 there were only 3 rooms left? I have the 4th day to choose and I’m really worried I won’t get a room in either pres 1 or 2
I mean in Pres 1 there was only 3 rooms left. Chances are honestly slim that you will get into Pres being the 4th day but not impossible! Def keep your options open and you can always apply to have a room change if another room opens up

No! The two pieces in our rooms are put together. So it’s basically a desk part and a like cabinet part to combine
I can’t believe there are dorms with their own bathrooms and single rooms in CA there are no spaces like that !

i really want to go to UA in the fall 2021, and i was looking at pres. this may be a dumb question cause you kinda answered it haha, but did you get to pick your roommates?
as a freshman you can only pick one other person, but you can definitely try to get in the same room as another group it’s just not guaranteed!

Did you have priority housing? If so what day did you have? I have the third or fourth day and I wanted to know because I want to live in Pres or at least one of the suite style dorms.

there isn't a deadline, I was trying to say that once it is filled up it will be removed from the housing application kinda like a deadline.

Choosing dates can range from first day pickings, 2nd day pickings and so on until the rooms are occupied
