Small world. I managed the car stereo division for her husband. Argus Auto Sound at Kellogg and Oliver. Because the record stores sold the concert tickets we were allowed to attend every concert (plus guest ) She and her Husband are first class and hard working. They earned a very good living and their home in Wichita was beautiful. She’s lovely. Rest in peace Bob you earned heaven.
Always loved the 928, never had one. I still look on the Internet to this day for one trying to convince myself to purchase. They can be money pits though. Shame these two are worse for wear. Great video Bob. All the best from the UK.
I love how car lovers like this rise above stereotypes; a mature woman in a yard in Kansas sharing her love of Porsches, music (stores), truly a silver haired cool person........
Oh hell yeah, as a serial 928 owner I truly approve of a husband & wife pair of 928's, what a great story, It's such a shame so many of these cars have disappeared from the road, Rj in Oz
This is my opinion, but the quiet music track has got to go. I found it annoying. There are lots of CZcamsr’s that post videos with just the natural sounds of the surroundings as the music track. I think it’s time for a change. Thank you for your time.
@@euroasianbob9268 You’re welcome. It’s too bad about the cars. I imagine being on the lawn for 12 years has not helped the unibody much even if it is Aluminum. The cars were put out to pasture long before their time.
Was just going to post the same thing about the background music. It makes it hard to understand the conversation and doesn't add anything to the video. Otherwise very much enjoy the content! Hard to imagine 2 928's in a small KS town.
If you can get past the expense, labor and don't mind veering away from using stock parts, these would be ideal candidates for an LS swap. For a restoration the numbers are almost never going to work as a flip. These cars were not made in huge numbers and aside from being very stylish and unique, don't have much going for them. Judgement call on your end but this is not going to be cheap or easy
1500 is too much, I woukld have offered 500$ a pop and still....They are badlyweathered...She waited too long: should have sold them in 2012...Bad decision: don't use it, lose it!
Every time I see a 928 I think "I need to call John Ficarra!" LOL
Dropping by to see two 928 is a great way to end weekend!
Always enjoy the Tagalongs! Thanks B and B!
She is such a nice woman and happy birth day Larry.....Thanks Bob and your wife.... Old F-4 Pilot Shoe🇺🇸
Something tells me that life would never be boring around her. Fun interesting lady.
@@joshuagraham3222 I could listen to her stories for hours!

Those cars are striaght destined to the scrapyard: worth 500$ a pop!
Great video, very genuine.

I enjoy your videos, and this was great. Hate to be pedantic, but you don't need the apostrophe in the title. 2 Porsches is correct.
Good luck.. Hope you get them. BTW, I'm looking for a nice 928 for my 71 year old wife..
