I feel you. I learned how to parallel park while living in Key West because of the limited parking space and tiny roads.. So many Cars had missing left side mirrors because people would always knock into them and drive off

Enjoying your SF explorations. I spent a week there last October for a conference. Spent one day just bumming around town with a Muni day pass. Despite all its troubles, it is still a magical place. It helps that there was perfect weather all week. I remember what it was like 40 years ago, and I hope it can regain its former glory. I agree, the public transit is great. Never got in a car all week. Walking down Lombard was really neat.
Adam, I'd ask you to go to Pacifica, check out where Harold drives off the hearse from Harold and Maud; check out the Fitgerald Marine Preserve in Halfmoon Bay; then drive further down HWY1 to Pescadero Beach (which Harold drives past in Harold in Maud, more importantly its a beautiful beach). Finally check out the Elephant Seals at Ano Nuevo. Then you're almost to Santa Cruz. Love your stuff Adam. You're a good guy. Really positive. Enjoy watching you and your friend travel about.

I have a lot of memories from SF when I used to work two doors down from the Salesfarce tower. Many thanks to spirit guide Daphne for taking us around. I hope you (we) get to check out Fort Point which sits directly below the Golden Gate Bridge. On the east side of either the second or third floor, there are a lot of hand-written graphiti (mostly signatures) dating back to the 1800s, which is pretty cool.
I love this city. Have been 3 times from the UK, one was our honeymoon. There seems to be a lot more empty shops now. I can't wait to go back. Last visit was nearly 10 years ago now

OH Old St Mary’s church in Chinatown! Just up the street from the building I used to work in! I used to go up there for noon mass on holy days such as Good Friday. Beautiful church with a lot of history. The walls survived the 1906 earthquake.

I spent lots of happy hours in The Castro, especially the Castro theatre. The Castro Breakfast Blend from the coffee place is excellent. Harvey Milk was the president of the City Council. He and Mayor George Mascone were assasinated by Dan White.
Visited there in 1998, went to Fisherman's Wharf, Great Seafood Restaurants...(Scomas) and (The Chowder House) (Gotta Have the Fish Chowder in the (Pumpernickel bowls) Don't Miss,.."Ghirardelli Chocolate" The Original Store!! Loving your trip to SF. I so want to go back, my uncle was one of building engineers for one of those tall buildings and his name is on the dedication. When I was last there we drove thru on our way to Monterrey and Carmel. He's been gone for awhile but I so want to go and grab a picture of it. Did drive by the house they used for Mrs Doutbfire, you should walk by that place it is a beautiful home. Love the videos with Daphine in them she is so fum!

My neice’s husband works at Salesforce and I’ve been to the top of the tower. The view is incredible. But you can go there and take the escalator up to the 4th story and there is a really big public park that is super cool. You can also get a close up view of the building that they made some mistakes in building and it is now leaning.
You & Daphne should get married.💕 You guys are a good couple. Great friends indeed. She is such a beautiful ray of sunshine. I am glad we joined you both. My dad & his wife live about an hour or so from San Francisco. The 49ers have been my favorite team since I was knee hign 2 a grasshopper. Playing catch up. Fort Point is where Natalie Wood jumped into the bay in "Vertigo". Hitchcock was proud.
Please learn the difference between a trolly and a cable car.

Great videos! But Adam, that's a Cable Car ... not a Trolley Car. There is a difference as a Cable Car is powered by a cable running underground. 🙂
IT'S A CLASSIC TROLLEY!
Knotts Berry Farm had the trolleys years ago and gave them to San Francisco. It would be interesting to see them again!
Actually it’s the other way around. The trolleys at KBF were sent there after retirement from San Francisco.
