  • After many requests the wait is over! Here I show how I made a custom seat using the stock Polaris Axys seat and base. The over-all seat turned out very well and it really didnt take a whole lot of time or tools to accomplish it. In fact, I think the only tool I didn't have was the electric knife and I'm sure glad I purchased it. Motoseat did an excellent job with the seat cover as well and I'd highly recommend them for any seat covering needs. The straps for holding the seat down were made out of 1 inch wide webbing and buckles from an old snowmobile cover I had lying around. They are riveting to the base of the seat and bolt to the factory bolts for holding the tank on. The velcro is placed where the seat base contacts the tank to keep it from shifting around. You only really need 4 or 5 pieces of velcro max in my opinion after running the seats for a couple years. If you have questions or comments feel free to let me know and I will help as best I can!
