It’s good that you’re willing to detail your problems because it will help others in the future. Thanks.
I hope so, learn from my mistakes people! haha
I remember you saying in one of your videos that the scrambler could face some light off-road... that was some hard-core off-road out there mate! That just makes me love this bike in even more...
It wasn't too bad. Did you see my videos riding in the desert. That was a bit more difficult, especially the sand!
Yep, she can "Scramble"! Marvelous bike!!!
Indeed! But soon, this bike is going to be a flat tracker since I have the Scrambler 1200!
wow.....Great job Chris, I'm in awe man....
Thank you very much! 🤙
Great video! Thanks a bunch! Yesterday, I just bought my first motorcycle, a Triumph Scrambler! Suppose to arrive in about a month. For now, just dreams!
Thanks George, and enjoy the Scrambler!!
Absolutely awesome 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Chris, your vids are awesome bud! Editing is awesome. Thank you.
Thanks!! This one came out particularly well. Shooting to do more like this going forward.
I’m loving your stuff Chris, been skipping around but your making me want a scrambler!
Thanks man! This is one of my favorite videos for sure. PS, even if you come on the Harley this event is in September. You should come up if you can. Caitlyn will be sticking to the street, but the area has amazing street riding. Google Red River Scramble 2022 for the info.
What an awesome video Chris - maybe my favorite of yours so far! It was great getting to meet and hang out with everyone- even if they sold you some bunk firewood 😂. Scramble on!
Yeah thanks! I really enjoyed how this video came out, and will make my new standard to keep getting better. I had a blast hanging out as well. Next year I might try to me there starting Thursday to soak up more of the experience!
What an awesome and amazing time you had. As much fun as it is to ride a motorcycle, you take it with the good and the bad, because in the end when you look back, it will always be a time in your life you will never forget.
That's absolutely very well said! Cheers!
Great video mate absolutely loved it 👍
Thanks! I'm pretty happy with it.
I know that Drew guy. He's top notch! Great video by the way!
Thanks! He is quite swell!
Great video man! That thumbnail is 🔥
Thanks for making the thumbnail happen! hahaha
What a great video! Looks like a great time. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us! Maybe next year Caitlyn will go with you?
I hope so! I think we're going to spend most of early 2021 working on her riding skills.
Lovely stuff. 👍🏼
Thank you! Cheers!
I loved this on so many levels. Really hoping to make it in 2021. And Chris is a great name (which I happen to share).
Awesome, glad you liked it Hope you can make it, definitely a fun event.
That rain will be good practice for you, for when you get over here🤣 ❤️🏴
Haha, I suppose so!
Great vid!
Thanks TImen!
Nice roads there, if i ever get to the states again its on my list. That tunnel tho, yikes, hope there was some airflow and someone eventually figured it out haha
That would be cool!
I bet they had to wait for a cop to sort it out. No one stuck in there seemed to be a problem solver.
You really are beating the crap out of that scrambler, but it looks like so much fun. Your also handling the rough terrain very well. I would love to be there for next year, but I'm not sure my street twin could handle that kind of off road. 2 questions: Are there more road options with camping and hiking to see everything, and 2, do they hold this at all inthe summer when its not as cold?
Hey Tom,
You can definitely stick to payment, as that's what some of the riders do. In fact, my first year was mainly sticking to payment. There is a gravel road getting to the camp ground, so stand up for that, but otherwise you can explore the twisty roads all weekend long, there's lots.
This even was supposed to be in May, but it got pushed back to late September this year because of Covid. Although the weather turned out great (wasn't cold at all once there). Not sure when he plans to do it in 2021. May is the usual time, but it worked out well in September too. Keep an eye out!
Looks like fun!
Wondering if the side stand issue is just a scrambler thing. My 2012 always leaned too far over I felt, so I welded a 1 inch puck to the bottom of the side stand foot and it fixed the issue. I have a center stand too, but it's definitely nice to have both functioning properly.
No cause it had been fine previously for me. Wasn't till I did a poor job a moving to a new state with the bike in the Uhaul truck. It wasn't as bad when I replaced the kickstand, but it still leans over more than before I had moved.
@@ScramblerStories Gotcha. Makes me wonder if the previous owner of mine had something similar happen. either way if you ever pass through Bay Area, CA again, I'm happy to fix up your side stand as well.
Also you were right the editing quality of this episode is definitely a few notches up. Looking forward to the rest of them.
15:24 that's me 🤓
Alright! Maybe I'll catch you actually on a trail this year!
@@ScramblerStories just look for a big red bike on it's side 😅
Just bought a 2019 Scrambler XE. Really have enjoyed your series! Can you tell me which (part number) your pannier is? Thanks in advance for any info
Thanks Darren. Videos on the 1200 XE coming soon. The Rugged Pannier from Triumph is part number: A9510433. The rack you need for the 1200 is A9510491. For my 1200, I've decided to go a different route. Rocking Metal Mule racks and Lone Rider bags. Far from cheap, but I have lockable luggage for both sides of the bike, and that's a must for the traveling we have coming up.
@@ScramblerStories Thanks for the info! Looking forward to your upcoming videos!
Hey man thanks for your videos! Curious what duffle bag set up you have and do you still roll with the BC slammer seat?
I got two roll bags for this trip. One is the Wolfman roll bag I've had for awhile now, and the other is one from Triumph. Also yes, I still rock the BC Slammer seat. Thanks for watching!
what speee were u crusing with all thay luggage? was the bike able to keep up?
Doing the speed limits, maybe slightly over. So 70-80mph, no issues.
hello I would like to know if your motorcycle deviates slightly to the right when you let go of the Handlebars while riding? i just bought a street scrambler and am wondering if the bike has a problem.where if it's just because of the weight of the exhaust. thanks a lot for your answer
No it should be balanced with the exhaust. That being said, there are a few things that can make it veer one way or the other when you let go of the handlebars. The road, tire wear, wheel alignment, etc.
@@ScramblerStories I do not understand. the motorbike has 400kms. I have been in two Triumph garages and both told me it was the weight of the pot that caused the bike to deflect when I let go of the Handlebars.
